Fake News
Have you noticed that when any news breaks which puts the Left in a bad light – suddenly they are crying “Fake News!” ?

It’s diabolical!  Did you know that the word “diabolical” comes from the Latin for “Devilish?”  The Greek word “Diabolos” means “Slanderer.”  Could that be more clear?

Let’s look at how the devil is described in the Word: 

• “Not a novice, lest being puffed up with pride he fall into the same condemnation as the devil”  (1 Timothy 3:6).
• “And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins,  in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience”  (Ephesians 2:1-2).
• “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hostsof wickedness in the heavenly places”  (Ephesians 6:12).
• ” Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?  (Genesis 3:1).  (Emphasis added
• “But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ” (2 Corinthians 11:3).
• “Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil”  (Ephesians 6:11).

The Author of Confusion and Father of Lies“

“You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it”  (John 8:44).  **Words of our Lord Jesus to the Pharisees.

“For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints”  (1 Corinthians 14:33).

And therefore by default, Satan IS the author of Confusion. His very first display of his power of confusion was in the Garden of Eden. He was so cunning when he asked Eve “Has God indeed said….?”  Can you just imagine the mind of Eve when she heard these words of his?

He truly deceived her as he has been deceiving the unbelieving world ever since.

Back to Leftwing Journalism

The liberal journalists cry foul whenever Conservatives cover a subject which clearly shows the Left to be in the wrong. This whole “Russian dossier” subject, which has confused so many people is a perfect example.

Brethren, I am not saying that there is not news that is inaccurate on Conservative sites.  We must be so careful as we read news stories. We must vet the information as best we can.  We must gather in websites which have proven to publish stories which are true and accurate. On the other hand, we must stay clear of sites which sensationalize stories or just plain lie about them.

But I will say that it is much more the style of Leftwing journalists to outright lie and therefore pass their words off as truth.  I have seen first hand in my family those who take the word of CNN and other Leftists news sites as the gospel truth.  If CNN said it, then it MUST be true.  This is the mind set of the typical liberal. They do not think for themselves.

SNOPES  is FAKE NEWS

Have you noticed that when you put in an internet search box, a new controversial story – the very first site which will appear is SNOPES.  Invariably, if the story in any way puts the Left in a bad light, SNOPES will conclude that it is FALSE.  Try this, and you will see that I am telling you the truth.  I wrote an article on this Leftist fact check sight. I will post it here once again. Most likely, I will be placed in FB jail for a period of time. They put me in the FB slammer for two weeks last time.  They are SO protective over SNOPES.

Satan Knows Just What to Do to Attempt to Shut us Down

Have you ever read C.S. Lewis’s “The Screwtape Letters?” Basically, the book is written from the perspective of a head demon who is training another demon on how to negatively affect those who belong to the Lord. It is really an intriguing book for believers. So much of it rings true in the battle for our minds.

The Article

I posted a seemingly harmless article about an actor who has quite conservative views on most subjects.  A member of my family who is not a believer (and is very close to me) saw this post and began to write “FAKE NEWS” all over my FB post. He was obviously very angry.

At first I was also a bit angry at the audacity of this person to attack me as he did on my page.  But then the demons began their scripted attack on my mind.  I was hearing the “whispers of the devil” as I often call them.  It went something like this:

• Is this important enough to have a fight with someone you love?
• Perhaps this IS Fake News……
• You should stay away from stories which will make Liberals mad
• You should just shut down as a writer……

Do you see how “Fake News” has become the verbal weapon of choice by the Left? Even my articles on George Soros have been called Fake News by liberals in my family!  They see him as a do-gooder – a philanthropist with not an evil bone in his body!

Well, just in case the liberals in my family read this piece, I will say this:

I love all of you, but I must speak truth.  If you are angry enough at me to cut off our relationship, then I will pray for you.  I cannot change because I belong to the Lord Jesus Christ, and I made a promise to Him that when I write; I will write Truth from the Word of God.  I also pray that the Lord will open your eyes to His Truth – that He is God and He died for your sins and is waiting for you to come to Him.

He loves you.  I love you.

Ever since the conclave of Vatican Cardinals selected the first Jesuit Pope – EVER – in 2013, Pope Francis has not ceased to shock the world with his unconventional comments. Perhaps “unconventional” is a gross understatement.

I have written numerous articles on this pope.  In one of these pieces, I showed the reader many surprising quotes from the Pontiff.

Here are a few excerpts from my article “Quotes from Pope Francis Compared to the Word of God”

He came onto the world stage much in the manner of President Obama. The left wing “Save mother earth” radicals are embracing him as their own. Funny, isn’t it? Wasn’t the job description of a Pope to lead the so-called faithful upon the earth — spiritually speaking? This speaks VOLUMES about the Vatican and RCC worldwide! The institution of Roman Catholicism is a CULT! I love the Catholic people, and because of this love — I must speak truth to them.

Where is Repentance and trusting the Lord Jesus Christ for Salvation in the Pope’s dialogues with the press? Did I miss it? I think not. Is this man saved? Does he know Jesus as Lord and Savior of his own life? If we look for fruit worthy of repentance in his life, it’s just not there.

What are his beliefs?  (I am posting his quotes. Refer to the article to read my commentary on the pope’s words)

But now we see Pope Francis touting the wisdom and “Compassion” of Communism!

Pope Francis: “…it is the communists who think like Christians”

Last week, Pope Francis told Italian journalist and co-founder of the newspaper La Repubblica Eugenio Scalfari that “…it is the communists who think like Christians.”

Here is the exchange:

Q: You told me some time ago that the precept, “Love your neighbour as thyself” had to change, given the dark times that we are going through, and become “more than thyself.” So you yearn for a society where equality dominates. This, as you know, is the programme of Marxist socialism and then of communism. Are you therefore thinking of a Marxist type of society?

A: “It it has been said many times and my response has always been that, if anything, it is the communists who think like Christians. Christ spoke of a society where the poor, the weak and the marginalized have the right to decide. Not demagogues, not Barabbas, but the people, the poor, whether they have faith in a transcendent God or not. It is they who must help to achieve equality and freedom” (emphasis added)

Pope Francis also used a familiar progressive expression surrounding immigrants. He said in part, “…we need to break down walls and build bridges…” The pontiff said in part:

We must break down the walls that divide us: we must try to increase well-being and make it more widespread, but to achieve this we need to break down walls and build bridges that allow us to reduce inequality and increase freedom and rights. More rights and greater freedom.” –source

There is no doubt that Pope Francis is the darling of the Left Wing Marxist/Socialists.  There is also no doubt in my mind that the Cardinals knew full well who they were electing to lead them.

When the NY Times, Washington Post, Huffington Post and other Leftist news organizations speak well of a person, we as Christian Conservatives quickly discern that this individual is a friend of the world and not of God.

I believe that this passage of Scripture sums up the beliefs of Pope Francis so clearly:

“Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God”  (James 4:4) NKJV
