Have you ever wondered why Christianity is the most persecuted religion? This story sheds light on this indisputable fact, and I believe that this man’s story is at the very heart of the hatred of Christians.

Let’s think about the major religions in the world:

Islam

Islam demands that the followers of Muhammad obey the Qur’an and bring about Worldwide Jihad. Their goal is domination of the entire world. That’s why I contend that Islam is not truly a ‘religion’ but a totalitarian political system.

What does Islam ask of its people? Follow the Qur’an and use jihad to dominate nations.

Buddhism

This religion focuses on the overcoming of suffering and evil by teaching that one is reincarnated until such person attains the highest level of goodness. This is called “Nirvana.”

Hinduism

Much like Buddhism, Hinduism also believes that people are reincarnated, graduating to higher levels.  Hindus worship many gods. These people have been instrumental in bringing “Yoga” to the West. Many Christians do not understand that Yoga is extremely dangerous for Christians, and should NOT be practiced. Each Yoga ‘Pose’ is submission to a Hindu god, even if the participant does not take part in meditation.

Judaism

Having grown up Jewish, I found the truth about Yeshua (Jesus) in 1983. We sang a song in synagogue called the Shema. “Here O Israel, the Lord thy God, the Lord is ONE.” The Jewish belief in one God – the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob – truly does keep many Jews from receiving Jesus as their Savior. God who has three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – is still ONE God! But Satan lies to my people, telling them that believing in the “Trinity” would be against Judaism.

There are really two major factors why Jewish people have such a hard time believing that Jesus is the Messiah:

1. Jesus made it clear that he was God in the flesh. That’s why the Sanhedrin called him a blasphemer. You see, the Jews do NOT believe that Moshiach (Messiah) will be Diety. They are waiting for an anointed “man” who is not God. They cannot grasp the idea of our ONE God having three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
2. The Jews believe that Moshiach (Messiah) will be only for them. They didn’t realize that Jesus came for all people – not just Israel.

Christianity

Christianity is the only Religion which is based on being reconciled to our Holy God by repenting of our sins and trusting the finished work of Jesus on the Cross and then His resurrection from the dead. We know that His precious blood, which He shed on the Cross, paid the sin debt that we could never pay!

So, why the intense hatred of Christians?

We, who love our Lord Jesus and have truly been born again, make others uncomfortable. They know that we worship our Lord. They know that we speak of Sin and how it separates us from God.

Christ shines His light in this dark world. Those who reject him do NOT want their sins to be found out.

“And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil” (John 3:19).

Just as this Australian brother was found guilty of a breach of conduct – the world who rejects the Son of God finds us (the Remnant) guilty for speaking the Truth from the Word of God. They do not want to be told that they are sinners.

As followers of our Savior, we are called to be Salt and Light. So even during times when we do not speak a word, the unbelievers are uncomfortable around us. THIS is the difference between Christianity and all other so-called religions.

And of course, the main reason for the world’s hatred of Christians is from Satan himself.

Recently I have been warning the brethren of the coming persecution to Christian Americans. I am not referring to the Tribulation. Jesus speaks of persecution:

“If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also. But all these things they will do to you for My name’s sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me” (John 15:18-21).

Another major difference between Christianity and all other religions is that we serve the LIVING GOD! The disciples watched Jesus as He ascended to His Father in heaven.

HE LIVES!   

No matter how strong the persecution is which IS coming – we do not have to fear. We serve the ONE who created heaven and earth!

And He will never leave us nor forsake us!

“Come now, you who say, ‘Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit’; whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. Instead you ought to say, ‘If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.’ But now you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil.

“Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin” (James 4:13-17).

When I read that Ms. Evans had passed away, all I could think of was whether, at the very end, she realized that she had not been speaking the truth of the Word of God to her many followers. I pray that she realized this, and that she called out to our Lord in godly repentance at the very end.

Only God knows what happened in the heart of this very young woman before she died. I have written articles about her and the so-called “Social Justice gospel (SJG).” I am a writer of truth, and I felt that it was of utmost importance to speak against this movement which is as anti-Christian as a person can get.

The Lost World and the Social Justice gospel

I have been reading that the world is embracing the SJG as the “true” Christians, and see us (the remnant) as “haters.” You see, they will only see God as Love, which He truly is. But they either do not know or they choose to push aside His other attributes: Holy, Righteous and Just.

The SJG cherry-picks the Scriptures which support their doctrines. You will never hear a leader in the SJG movement speak of how homosexuality is an abomination to our God. They also fully support abortion and march with those who scream about a woman’s right to “choose.” They are on board with transgenderism. These people are also ardent Climate Change supporters.

And let’s not forget that those in the SJG movement are mostly Socialists.

Progressive Christian author Rachel Held Evans, who served on an advisory council for faith-based and neighborhood partnerships for President Barack Obama, died Saturday at the age of 37.

Evans, the bestselling author of A Year of Biblical Womanhood; Inspired: Slaying Giants, Walking on Water, and Loving the Bible Again; and Searching for Sunday, was known for her clashes with evangelical Christians. An Episcopalian, she advocated for women in church leadership and the inclusion of LGBT members and against evangelical support of President Trump, among other hot-button issues.

The Dayton, Tenn., resident was hospitalized in April for what she described on Twitter as a combination of the flu and a urinary tract infection, along with an allergic reaction to antibiotics she had been given.

Following her admittance to the hospital, she developed seizures and was placed in a medically-induced coma. When doctors tried to bring her off the coma medication, her brain swelled, causing damage her husband described as “not survivable” in an update to a blog post detailing her health struggles.

Her husband, Daniel Evans, with whom she had two children, announced her death on her website.

“This entire experience is surreal. I keep hoping it’s a nightmare from which I’ll awake. I feel like I’m telling someone else’s story,” her husband wrote. “I cannot express how much the support means to me and our kids. To everyone who has prayed, called, texted, driven, flown, given of themselves physically and financially to help ease this burden: Thank you. We are privileged. Rachel’s presence in this world was a gift to us all and her work will long survive her.” source

The real tragedy here is that the work of which her surviving spouse speaks was False teaching. God will NOT be mocked. And I think that this should be a wake-up call to anyone who changes, twists or rewrites God’s Holy Word.

Pray for Rachel’s family. Pray for her millions of followers.

PRAY that the Lord will send true believers into many of their lives and their eyes will be opened to the Truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
