Our Miraculous God :: By Geri Ungurean

In 1999, my mother got terribly ill. She would tell me that there was something very wrong with her nose and sinuses. Her doctor had her on some kind of sedative since the passing of my father in 1997.

Her doctor would tell me that she had “hysterical female” syndrome. Now, I’m certainly no feminist, but I could not help but feel that her doctor was blowing off my mother’s complaints and blaming everything on losing my dad.

Mom was a very smart and rather independent lady. She was the best bridge player in her building – the ladies fought over her – wanting her to be on their team. She read the news front to back and was always up on current events.

Trips to the ER

Mom was so convinced that something was wrong that she would call 911 and go by ambulance to the emergency room several times. The doctors there never called for any CT Scans or MRI’s to rule out something physical causing her complaints.

But then my mom began to slur her words, and that was alarming. It was so bad that I could not understand anything she was saying. She thought that she was speaking to me clearly, and when I didn’t understand her, she would get mad.

The Last Doctor’s Visit

I went with my mother to her doctor when none of us could understand what she was trying to say to us. When we were back in his exam room, he heard my mom attempting to speak. He took me aside and said that he was sure that she was taking too many sedatives; and also that “hysterical female” diagnosis came out of his mouth.

I prayed in my head for the Lord to keep me from slapping him! I was very upset. I demanded that he put my mother in the hospital and have them do appropriate testing to rule out a physical problem.

He told me that he would NOT put my mother in the hospital and that he was 100% sure that it was psychological and not physical. At that point, I could not speak to him any longer. I felt a rage come up inside of me.

I took my mom home and stayed with her until she was ready to sleep.

The Call

The next day I received a call from a neurologist at the local hospital. My mother had called 911 again and was in the ER. The doctor said that a CT-Scan showed that my mom had a large and inoperable tumor in her brain. He told me that most likely it had been growing for months.

I met my sisters and brother at the hospital. The doctor was sure that the tumor was malignant. He said that it was embedded in the area of the brain which controls speech and memory.

A biopsy was done, and they told us that the cancer was the most aggressive type known.

Chemo and Radiation?

After being told by the oncologist that chemotherapy and radiation might only give my mother 4-6 weeks to live, we had a family meeting. My brother and I said that we should bring mom home and keep her comfortable with her family around her.

My two sisters wanted chemo and radiation, and that is how they treated the cancer. A few days into the chemotherapy, my mom began aggressive behavior toward the nurses. She would trip them and hit them. Her oncologist told us that there were heavy amounts of steroids mixed in with the chemo, and thought that it was causing the erratic behavior.

One day when I came to visit my mom, I was shocked to see that she had been tied down to her bed. I went to the nurses’ station and told them that it was too dangerous to restrain my mother like that. I asked them if it was even legal. What about the possibility of a fire? The head nurse immediately untied my mom.

The Private Nurse Hand-Picked by Our Lord Himself

One of my sisters hired a private nurse to stay with mom for most of the day. I came to see mom every day after work. I walked into her room and saw the private nurse. She introduced herself, and I did the same. Then a remarkable thing happened. This nurse (I think that she was Jamaican) looked into my eyes and said to me, “You know the Lord Jesus!”

The reason I said that this was remarkable was that my mother’s last name was Rosenberg, and most people would know that was Jewish. But this beautiful nurse knew that I was born again! She saw Jesus when she looked in my eyes.

Through tears I told her that I indeed knew Jesus and that He was my Savior. We hugged. She was crying too.

Singing Hymns Day after Day

Every day I would come for my visit. The nurse would tell me that she had sung hymns to my mom all day long! She said that my mother would smile and that her favorite was Amazing Grace. I knew that God Himself had chosen this nurse for my mother.

The irony to this story is that the sister who hired this private nurse was and is an atheist! When I pondered in my heart that this was indeed a miracle from God, I kept it to myself. I didn’t want my sister to fire this nurse. I treasured the thought that this sister in Christ was with my mother while I worked, and that she sang hymns and talked to mom about Jesus. What a Savior!

The Hospice

When my mom was close to death, the private nurse was also a hospice nurse and remained with her. I was there, holding my mom’s hand when she took her last breath.

The nurse hugged me and said, “Don’t worry about her. She is with our Lord.”

I had led my father to the Throne of Grace in 1997 on the very night of his death. I had been writing to my father about Jesus and how He truly was the Messiah. I keep letters from my dad in my Bible. He began to watch Billy Graham crusades whenever they were on TV. Mom and Dad lived in Melbourne, FL for a few years.

Mom was convinced that Dad was “meshuganah” (crazy in Yiddish), but I smiled whenever she complained to me about him. She wanted nothing to do with Jesus.

I pray that my mom truly understood the Gospel because of the nurse whom our Lord had chosen for her. And I pray that she trusted in the Lord Jesus for her Salvation. I pray that she is in heaven with my father waiting for me.

It WAS Amazing Grace that God in His compassion and mercy had sent this beautiful daughter of His to care for my mom in her last days – physically and spiritually!

What a Mighty God we serve!

How Can I Be Saved?

Could the Time of the Man of Sin Be Close at Hand? :: By Geri Ungurean

Nothing in the Christian’s life is happenstance.

Being a writer and constantly researching, I have found myself having a desire to understand Kabbalah and the Jews who follow this mysticism.

There is a website called “Chabad.org,” and this is the one-stop shop for all things Kabbalah. I visit this site regularly, but I have never subscribed to it or left my name or email anywhere on it.

However, recently I have been receiving emails from Chabad.org. A few days ago, I received an email from them telling me that I could ask the rabbi a question. They said that they have many rabbis, and if I asked a question, one would get back to me within 48 hours.

Here is what I asked:

Question:

Do the Rabbis in Israel believe that Rebbe Schneerson will come alive again and that he is our Moshiach? And will the Noahide Laws be implemented in the future?

The Rabbi’s answer:

“Shalom and thank you for your email to Chabad.org.

I’m sure there are those in Israel who believe this, but this is not necessarily Chabad’s stance here or in Israel.

When Moshiach comes, the knowledge of G-d will be so pervasive, that all will want to do only what G-d wants. For a Jew, this means observing the 613 Mitzvot; for a non-Jew, this means the observance of the Seven Laws of the Children of Noah.

Please don’t hesitate to write back if I can be of any further help.

Best wishes,

Simcha Bart”
Chabad.org

I found it very interesting that this rabbi said:

“When Moshiach comes, the knowledge of God will be so pervasive, that all would want to do only what God wants.”

My Mind Went Immediately to Antichrist

The rabbi also said this:

“For a Jew, this means observing the 613 Mitzvot; for a non-Jew, this means the observance of the Seven Laws of the Children of Noah.”

So, when Antichrist makes his appearance, the 613 Mitzvot (the WHOLE Law) will be once again observed by Jews. For the non-Jew (Gentiles), this means the observance of the Seven Laws of the Children of Noah (Noahide laws.)

I would like to add this:

The Jew goes back to strict observance of the Law; the Gentiles will be forced by Antichrist to observe the Noahide laws. Will the reader please allow me to say that this, by deduction, is an unspoken expectation by the rabbis that Christians believing that Jesus is the Messiah (Tribulation Saints) will be considered “Idol worshipers” because they believe in the Trinitarian Godhead?

We know that there is but One God. However, our God has three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit; yet He is ONE GOD.

But the rabbis see us as worshiping a different God. I believe that this is what will prompt Antichrist to hunt down “Trinitarian Christians” during the Great Tribulation and will slaughter them.

From chabad.org

The Noahide Laws. This is straight from the Chabad.org website:

The 7 Noahide Laws: Universal Morality

What Are the Seven Noahide Laws?

The 7 Noahide Laws are rules that all of us must keep, regardless of who we are or from where we come. Without these seven things, it would be impossible for humanity to live together in harmony.

  1. Do not profane G‑d’s Oneness in any way.
Acknowledge that there is a single G‑d who cares about what we are doing and desires that we take care of His world.
  2. Do not curse your Creator.
No matter how angry you may be, do not take it out verbally against your Creator.
  3. Do not murder.
The value of human life cannot be measured. To destroy a single human life is to destroy the entire world—because, for that person, the world has ceased to exist. It follows that by sustaining a single human life, you are sustaining an entire universe.
  4. Do not eat a limb of a living animal.
Respect the life of all G‑d’s creatures. As intelligent beings, we have a duty not to cause undue pain to other creatures.
  5. Do not steal.
Whatever benefits you receive in this world, make sure that none of them are at the unfair expense of someone else.
  6. Harness and channel the human libido.
Incest, adultery, rape and homosexual relations are forbidden.
The family unit is the foundation of human society. Sexuality is the fountain of life and so nothing is more holy than the sexual act. So, too, when abused, nothing can be more debasing and destructive to the human being.
  7. Establish courts of law and ensure justice in our world.
With every small act of justice, we are restoring harmony to our world, synchronizing it with a supernal order. That is why we must keep the laws established by our government for the country’s stability and harmony.

These laws were communicated by G‑d to Adam and Noah, ancestors of all human beings. That is what makes these rules universal, for all times, places and people.

Laws made by humans may change according to circumstance. But laws made by the Creator of all souls over all of time remain the same for all people at all times.

If we would fulfill these laws just because they make sense to us, then we would change them, according to our convenience. We would be our own god. But when we understand that they are the laws of a supreme G‑d, we understand that they cannot be changed, just as He does not change.

Why Are the Noahide Laws Especially Important Today?

Today, we are on the verge of a new era for humankind, a time when we will finally live together in peace, and the world will be filled with divine wisdom. Those who keep these basic rules will have a share in that world, since, after all, they took part in making it possible.

Although these teachings were recorded in the sacred Jewish texts, for many centuries Jews were not able to speak about them to the people they lived amongst. But in recent times, the foremost rabbi of the Jewish people in the 20th century, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, of righteous memory, encouraged Jews to publicize these teachings, so that the world can prepare for the times of peace and wisdom that are swiftly approaching.

Why Are They Called the Noahide Laws?

These are called the Noahide Laws because they are the heritage of humanity from our oldest ancestors. Since all humanity are descendants of Noah, who survived the Great Flood, all people today are Noahides.

Jewish tradition tells that six of these laws were given to the first human being, Adam. A seventh law, the prohibition against eating the limb of a living animal, was given to Noah when humankind was permitted to consume meat.

More Noahide Laws

These seven principles are general ones. Many other teachings, all intuitive to the upright human mind, branch out from these.

These include the practice of charity and acts of kindness, honoring and respecting parentsprayer to G‑d and contemplation of His wisdom and greatness.

This also means not acting recklessly towards the magnificent creation that has been entrusted to our stewardship.

Who Keeps the Noahide Laws?

Nobody needs to convert or join a particular church or temple to keep these principles and laws. But it is important to keep them because this is what the supreme G‑d wants of every one of us, and not only because they are wise and good laws.

Anyone who keeps these basic rules for that reason—regardless of race, nationality or culture—is considered a righteous person and granted eternal life upon leaving this world. source

Brethren, did you see the first of the seven Noahide Laws?  Let me post it again; and please let this sink in:

  1. Do not profane G‑d’s Oneness in any way.
Acknowledge that there is a single G‑d who cares about what we are doing and desires that we take care of His world.

When I was doing my research for an article on the Noahide Laws – THIS is what I kept finding as the first law:

  1. Do not deny God – no idolatry

Now, go back to what is stated on chabad.org as the first Noahide Law. Do you see how the Kabbalist rabbis elaborated on this law by adding to it?:

  1.  Do not profane God’s Oneness in any way

During the Great Tribulation, people who become Christians will be targeted and beheaded by Antichrist. He will uphold the Noahide laws, and he will point to the first law which clearly states that anyone who believes in a Trinitarian God is NOT righteous and must be killed.

I am so grateful that we will not be here for this horrific time in history.  We MUST share the Gospel with all who do not believe – and that includes Jewish people!

Here is what I wrote back to the rabbi:

Dear Simcha Bart,

I am an ethnic Jew, brought up in Bethesda, MD. My grandparents on both sides emigrated from Ukraine to the U.S. around 1903. Their names were Rosenberg and Greenberg.

I want to tell you that in 1983 I met the true Messiah (Moshiach) Yeshua. I did not forfeit my being a Jew. I felt completed as a Jew – after all Yeshua was certainly a Jew, reading from Torah in the synagogues of His time.

The man who is coming very soon and whom the world (including Jews) will believe is Moshiach will actually be Antichrist. He will be indwelled by Satan. Israel will receive him as their Messiah; but after 3 1/2 years, he will sit in the Temple (which he will help Israel to build), and he will proclaim that he is God. The eyes of Israel will then be opened, and they will see that this man is evil. This man of sin will slaughter 2/3 of Israel, and 1/3 will flee to the mountains.

I don’t expect you to believe what I am writing to you – but – you will remember my words to you when this begins to unfold. I believe that we are very close to the coming of this evil one. It will start with a “man” who will confirm a treaty with Israel for seven years. In the middle of those seven years is when this Wicked one will sit in the Temple as if he is God.

Instead of deleting this as trash – I would suggest that you print this out and keep it. Then you will be able to tell others what is happening.

I am a writer, and this is one of my articles on the fake Moshiach:

“Israel -You Missed Your Messiah But It Was God’s Plan For the World”

Shalom,
Geri

This is how the rabbi responded to me:

Shalom and thank you for your email to Chabad.org.

When you will be interested in Judaism, you can go to jewsforjudaism.org and outreachjudaism.org

Please don’t hesitate to write back if I can be of any further help.

Best wishes,

Simcha Bart
Chabad.org

**Both of the sites above are led by Rabbi Tovi Singer. His ministry is to reach out to Jews like me who believe in Yeshua, and attempt to bring us back. They no longer consider me a Jew.

Please pray for this man. Pray that the words I wrote to him will stay in his mind. Pray that he keeps my response.

Pray that Yeshua will save this man and that he will tell many what God has done for him.

How Can I Be Saved?

Shalom b’Yeshua
