“Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee. Thus saith the Lord GOD; It shall also come to pass, that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought: and thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates, to take a spoil, and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited, and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land.

“Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions thereof, shall say unto thee, Art thou come to take a spoil? hast thou gathered thy company to take a prey? to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil? Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord GOD; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it? And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army: and thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.

“Thus saith the Lord GOD; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them? And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face. For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel; so that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.

“And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord GOD: every man’s sword shall be against his brother. And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone. Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the LORD” (Ezekiel 38:1-6, 9-23, KJV).

“And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet” (Matthew 24:6, KJV).

“For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away” (2 Timothy 3:2-5, KJV).

Gog is on the move. For those who know and understand Bible prophecy, you know exactly who “Gog” is and what this statement means. For those of you who don’t, you’d better find out – quickly.

With the decision by Russia’s Vladimir Putin to take Ukraine in a massive invasion while daring the rest of the world to interfere – even having the audacity to threaten any country who threatens to hinder him and his plans with a nuclear response – with this cold and calculated move by Russia, the world has just taken another giant step towards the Tribulation. Earth’s final seven years lie just over the near horizon.

The entire world has been in perilous times for decades, but the global situation we are now in has just taken a terrifying leap forward towards what will soon morph into the Tribulation. The next prophetic event to rock this world will be the sudden massive disappearance of the Remnant Church from every nation on earth. That will be the very next event that will occur because scripture is clear; the Church must be removed from earth, be robed, crowned, and in Heaven seated around the throne of God BEFORE the Lord Jesus breaks the first seal-the action that BEGINS earth’s final seven years – the TRIBULATION. (For reference and chronology, see Revelation chapters 4-6).

In these darkening days, while we pray for our own nation and for the people of Ukraine and Russia, let’s also be reminded to lift in prayer the people of China and Taiwan, North and South Korea, as well as both the lost and saved in these places, in Iran and Israel too and around the world.

Tiny Israel teeters on the cusp of what will be the darkest time in her history. As events continue to unfold, soon the entire world will refuse to come to Israel’s aid when Russia, Turkey, Iran et al, the very coalition of nations prophesied nearly three millennia ago in the book of Ezekiel, will swoop down from the north like a giant bird of prey upon hapless abandoned little Israel with sudden swiftness in an overwhelming show of force that will stun the world. Nevertheless, at that time, Israel’s God Himself will rise in divine fury to defend and deliver Zion (reference Isaiah 17:1 and Ezekiel 38-39).

Russia’s audacious invasion of Ukraine means China will certainly be emboldened to do the same thing in Taiwan. In fact, China’s Communist leader Xi Jinping is, at this moment, amping up China’s rhetoric towards this very scenario. China is watching Russia closely, salivating after Taiwan. North Korea continues eyeing South Korea; and Russia, Iran, Turkey, et al (the leaders of the Ezekiel 38-39 coalition) are all converging with their collective eye on Israel to (in their minds) finish once and for all what Hitler began. They, too, are salivating for the “final solution” to the “Jewish problem” and the destruction of the hated nation of Israel that has been a continuous thorn in their side.

Putin, as Russia’s Supreme Leader (and most likely Gog of Ezekiel 38-39), will only be emboldened by his overwhelming show of force in invading Ukraine, although Putin is finding out that the Ukrainian people aren’t going to just roll over without a fight.

This move by Russia will only harden Russia’s (and all of the Ezekiel coalition’s) resolve towards their ultimate goal: the complete destruction of Israel and the plunder of her immense wealth in oil and natural resources – just as God foretold they would. What they have really done is sign and certify their own death warrants. They, the Ezekiel 38-39 conspirators (Russia, Iran, Turkey, Libya, et al), all have an inescapable appointment with God on the mountains of Israel. They’ve just taken the first step towards their own inevitable destruction. Israel will survive. Her God will defend her.

These are indeed dark and perilous times we are in. As the world hurls itself full force towards the rapidly approaching hour of the Tribulation, what are we as believers to do? Should we take up arms and revolt? Should we become preppers and spend all our money on food and supplies to last for years and years? Should we take to the streets in protest? At some point, perhaps some portion of these actions may be called for on a limited scale except for spending all our money buying and storing food for years and years. However, for the most part, no. What we need to be doing is to go back to the scriptures for the answer of HOW we are to “occupy until He comes.”

Conditions in our own country of America, in Canada, Australia, the UK, indeed the current conditions in every nation on earth are exactly and precisely the conditions the prophetic scriptures said they would be during these last days. Jesus told us these things MUST happen. The Holy Spirit speaking through the Apostle Paul reiterated this in 2 Timothy. He told us EXACTLY what conditions would be like in the final seconds of the final days of the Church Age. He gave precise details of what these “perilous times” would be like.

Read the books of 1 & 2 Thessalonians, Titus, Jude, and 1 & 2 Corinthians. Read the books of Daniel, Ezekiel, Isaiah, and Revelation. It’s ALL been laid out for us. From Eden to the Golan to Patmos to Bozrah to the Valley of Jezreel – Armageddon, God has laid out His plan giving us the end from the beginning. From Genesis to Revelation, God’s plan has been explained and set forth. It’s all there laid out in stunning detail – the end from the beginning.

The current global “leadership” – and I use that term only in the sense that those who hold these power positions wield the reins of power, not in the sense that they themselves actually hold that power – they only have the ILLUSION of power and control. It is God Almighty who is the great Divine Maestro directing the symphony of His great Plan For the Ages. The leaders of this world system and their actions are being orchestrated by Satan and his minions. Yet even Satan, along with his fellow insurrectionists in all their diabolical machinations, are themselves fulfilling GOD’S ultimate plan and purpose). The elite globalist powers that be are all merely pawns. They are nothing more than Satan’s puppets, just as Satan himself is an already defeated foe destined for eternal failure and torment in the Lake of Fire.

The end has already been decreed. Ultimately, these global elitists are all either wittingly or unwittingly following an already foretold script, playing their roles right into the very end-time events with the preordained conclusion that the God who “knows the end from the beginning” has already foretold will happen, all according to His plan.

“Remember this, and shew yourselves men: bring it again to mind, O ye transgressors. Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it” (Isaiah 46:8-11, KJV).

Each global leader is exactly who and where God has placed them to be for such a time as this.

“Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: and he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: he revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him” (Daniel 2:20-22, KJV).

Our mandate as God’s ambassadors during these final seconds of the final minutes of this current dispensation is to continue constantly in prayer interceding before the throne of grace on behalf of the lost, to stand in the gap for our fellow brethren in every nation on earth. Our efforts during this time should be centered around three things: (1) Reading and studying the scriptures like never before so that we, like the sons of Issachar, are aware and understand the times God has placed us in. (2) Share the gospel and warn the lost in every way possible, and (3) Patiently, persistently, and faithfully watch and wait for our Lord’s return.

Our continual earnest prayer should be that the lost in every nation will realize their eternal peril and the lateness of the hour now. Our mandate is to proclaim far and wide the gospel of salvation in every forum and in the situation we are given while soberly warning them of what is to come so that as many as are willing may come to salvation now before we are removed from this earth and they are left behind to face the darkest seven years in all of human history.

The prophetic timeline has reached the very end of the Church Age. We are living in the closing seconds of the parenthetical Dispensation of Grace – the last few minutes and seconds of the Church Age. This dispensation will end as miraculously as it began. The Church was born, and the Church Age was begun supernaturally at Pentecost. It will end supernaturally as well with the sudden, instantaneous Harpazo – the “snatching away” of the Remnant Church, the rapture. That unprecedented and always imminent event will happen quickly without any prior warning. It can and will happen at any moment.

Conditions here at home and abroad aren’t going to improve. They will continue to deteriorate. This declination will hasten the closer we get to the rapture and the ensuing Tribulation. Jesus told us these things MUST happen; so we know the escalation of wars, threats of war, violence, hatred, injustice, lies, Satanic deceit, bloodshed, insurrection, and demonic insanity will continue to progress because these things MUST happen. Still as degenerate as things are now and as horrific as things will get after our departure, never forget that for all believers in Jesus Christ, we who have believed in Him and placed our faith and trust in Him alone, for all of us who are the Remnant Church, our blessed hope is secure and assured.

We will soon be departing for our real home. Until then, keep on keeping on as faithful soldiers of the cross, and rest in the promise our Lord made to His beloved bride that We, His body/bride, the Remnant Church, are “not destined to wrath” but to be rescued from God’s fearful coming judgment upon this sin-loving, God-hating, Christ-rejecting world (1 Thessalonians 5:9; Revelation 3:10). Rest in that promise of rescue, and hold tight to the nail-scarred hands of our Deliverer.
