It’s sort of funny, if you view this world the way I do. I look around and see far too many that wouldn’t give the Word of God a second thought and wouldn’t give Jesus Christ the honor and glory that HE deserves. As a matter of fact, they won’t have anything to do with the Word of God or Jesus Christ or anything remotely close, because it reveals their sin for all to see. It “convicts” them of their sin.

The world likes to refer to them as the “Type A” individual always in the forefront, always moving and shaking things, making things happen wherever they go. Yet, if you really look at them, they are the derivative of the “dreamers,” the ideas and dreams of the dreamers. Someone must see something in their mind before anything can be done, an idea must be formulated before any work can start. Yet the dreamers are much more laid back, non-aggressive, patient, or you could say the flip-side of the coin to the Type A’s. Still as yet, the dreamers cannot impart their dreams to the Type A’s, without someone that can reach the masses, which brings in the money. I call these the “political types.”

The “political types” care about nothing more than money, that is their God. They do however have a skill no one else possesses, that “silver tongue.” They are gifted with a very pleasant face, a mild and whimsical voice that is soothing to the ear. And they have the right vocabulary for every situation and can sell you right out of your drawers—lock, stock and barrel, as the old saying goes. They use their extensive skills to “call the people” to a particular situation and make it more than it really is and sell it to the people. And the people buy in with as much as they can, because there is some sort of return to them that fits their wants more than any other. In the end, this leaves only the “masses.”

The “masses” are ordinary people, they buy and sell as they see fit. They know their wants and desires and that is the focus for them and they listen to the political types. The political types understand the dreams of the Dreamers and the Type A’s are there to begin the work as quickly as possible. So then the question is this: Who is it that is in charge? If you ask each and every one of them, they will say they are in charge. But is that the truth?

We know in this world the ones with all the money are the ones in charge. They have the resources in their back pockets. They are also the “planners” that dictate to the others what will happen first, and when. Remember now, we are talking about the world and its diverse characters. And so the masses learn skills and undertake the actual building of a project. So the question is this: Who is in charge now? It’s a little confusing isn’t it? It requires a strong linear viewpoint for sure.

Suffice it to say, my friends, no one is truly in charge of anything…they MUST learn to work together if they want a project to happen. There are always those that think a particular project is a good one and then there are the ones that are against it, for their own reasons and wants. One thing is for sure, everyone wants and desires something…for themselves! Thus we have a voting public. And then there must be a way to protect what has been built, so now we have a government with its own military force. Now, we need to wonder, what is the one single, common denominator here? Believe it or not, it’s money!

Stop and remember, everyone wants a piece of the pie, right? Some get more than others and a great many get less than what is needed. And then, there are the extreme few who through sneaky skills, make off with more than anyone else. So the money goes round and round, projects get done—which takes more money than it should and a few are happy with it.

MOST are not!

WHAT?

Believe it or not, humans always work this way, in every single thing in life. So then the question is: Why are most not happy with it the way it is? In a capitalist country like ours (USA), wouldn’t it be expected, that everyone is happy? I mean everyone has the choice of schools, from kindergarten to the PhDs in graduate school, right? Yet, there seems to be far too much discord…with everything!

It appears there is only so much of any one thing, that any one person can digest, then they want something else. It must be new, it must be more robust or exciting than anything before! What the real problem is, there are limitations to everything here on earth. There is always an end to everything and no one likes that, thus all the discord of the people. Stop and think for a moment, a foot is but a foot, it is part of a meter or yard and is nothing more. We are not able to change that, because we live in a “linear” world, which means there is an “end to everything.” And that is what is hated the most.

Have you ever noticed that we must make a machine big in order to make something small take place? And yet, it takes place in the universe all the time, without the need for a big machine. Look at the Hadron Collider so scientists can examine the Haggs Bosin particle, or maybe the electron microscope, whatever. We humans…have NEVER created a single thing. We are still examining what was in the past and are finding out the same things happened back then as they today, nothing has changed, nothing is better than it once was, maybe easier, but not better. And so we run about, “Hither, thither and yon” and it’s all the same. It may look different but it is still the same.

Has it never occurred to you, you are not able to change night or day, stop a sunrise or sunset, change the air we breathe or stop the waves of the ocean? Scientists will tell you, burn down a tree, it is still a tree, in the ashes. Nothing is ever deleted or made non-existent here. You are not able to change anything. Absolutely nothing. You can change the time you look or the direction of view, but it is what it is and never changes. Concrete still comes from ordinary rock, marble is still a rock, nothing more and nothing less. Is it not enough, for you to say, YOU…can only change…YOU?

God can change you, turn you into a puff of steam, or even worse, un-create you and remove you from any time line, so that YOU never existed! Suffice it to say, our Lord and Savior, our God does not work that way! Jesus Christ, God in human form, was the ONLY one to change anything. HE healed the sick, raised the dead and created food for five thousand, from two small loaves and three small fish. And to think…GOD…chose to come here, to earth. Here’s some Scripture about that.

Psalm 8:3-5: “When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.”

Obviously, Jesus Christ IS God…otherwise HE would never have been able to do the Miracles, that HE did do. And now some people want to call HIM a Prophet or just a really good man! Are you crazy?!

John 17:1-5: “These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.”

Jesus Christ…God…chose to come here and die to give us, that’s you and me, a way to have Life Eternally with HIM. The point is, YOU must choose Jesus Christ into your life!

Philippians 2:9-11: “Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

There has never been another name like Jesus Christ. There has never been another person able to do for you and me the things HE already has done. Then He tells us in HIS Holy Word—the Bible, the things that HE will do in the future and then it happens…That is REAL PROPHECY. This my friends is absolute TRUTH!

How arrogant can we be to think of ourselves on HIS level or ability. How much arrogance does it require for you or me to turn our collective backs on Jesus Christ? And now we hear and see “pastors or ministers and others of questionable backgrounds exclaim the “Feel Good Gospel” or the “Prosperity Gospel” deceiving all the others and then call upon Jesus Christ to help them, or to help you? What these Satanists want is your money! And so they blaspheme the name of the Lord God Almighty. Please re-read the Scripture above and ask yourself, what do you want to hear? The truth or a lie?

So let’s go back to the question, “Why are we here?” The answer is as obvious as the nose in the middle of my face…to follow Jesus Christ. It is a choice YOU must make and it will only apply to you. It will either save you to life or to death for eternity!

My Lord and Savior has planted you and me into a world of beginnings and endings, a world of limitations, a linear world, a world of time and that is limited as well. Because HE wants you to understand what living with limitations is all about, that way, HIS life without limitations would be the best of choices. Yet HE, the Lord God, wants to know that you made this decision of your own free will. It comes down to this my friends: Do you want joy and happiness for a few years and then death forever? Or would you want joy and happiness forever and never know death? Simple isn’t it?

So if you have no idea of what everything is all about, it was written in a book that has survived for better 4500 years and all you must do is to read it and believe in Jesus Christ. There has never been any book greater than the Bible, there has never been a book with proven prophecies. There has never been any other book, written by a God that wants you to know HE loves you and wants to save you. Go ahead, if you have the time of course, compare the Bible to other books and see which one brings you happiness and eternal joy. Now you know why I chose to use the verse that comes up next: It is TRUTH!

“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad” ( 2 Corinthians 5:10).

I came across this plump little cherry of Scripture and immediately amazed by it. This verse is straight forward and to the point, it is black and white. Thus, there can be NO denying it is telling the truth, we will be judged for what we do here on earth! We need to back-up for a moment and take a closer look at this verse and then break it down for every part of it.

An intent of the heart or a thought pops into our heads: Your friend has a really nice watch. You like it and he doesn’t need it, he has enough money to buy several. But you don’t! Believe it or not, this is where the rubber meets the road;  examine yourself: Are you a thief and a liar, a coveter, a fake as a friend?  If you are, the problem is, you know this about yourself and others don’t. Actually, you should be ashamed and remorseful but then “It’s all about ME!!”…right!

So as things stand at the moment, you may have had a thought of who you are. The intent of the heart is to steal that watch for yourself. You’re sure he won’t miss it, he probably has others as well and you don’t have anything like that. Being your friend, he should have given it to you…right? Everything said and done, you steal that watch and you wear it as if you bought it for yourself.

You sit back and tell yourself, it’s all okay, He is rich and you are not and you have to struggle for everything. He is a bad guy because everything was given to him, he doesn’t know what it’s like to have to work hard for everything. You have to sacrifice something for anything you get, grinding your fingers to the bone, day in and day out. And so the excuses flow like a river after the dam breaks!

There are other areas we haven’t said anything about: Conviction, judgment, punishment, restitution and finally…forgiveness! Big words for such a small man, right?

Numbers 32:23: “But if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned against the Lord: and be sure your sin will find you out.”

Every single person on this planet does things that sometimes never see the light of day, they feel they have gotten away with, that no one knows. You are acting on one side of the river or your on the other side; there is NO in-between. Again, this life is “an either or” situation. You are here for a purpose and no matter what you want or think you need, there is always a choice to be made. If you understand you are here to follow Jesus Christ or not, then life will quickly become much easier for you. The problem for the majority of the people is that they are not willing to think that far. Incredible!

If you take notice and agree with what has been said above, then you understand the reasons why people CHOOSE to use excuses. There is a passage of Scripture that deals with this exactly:

Matthew 5:37: “But let your communication be, Yea, yea (Yes be a Yes); Nay, nay (No be a No): for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil.”

So therefore the  intent of your heart, which God knows, was to steal the watch, which you promptly did. The first sin was you had the thought, the second sin was you devised a plan to steal the watch, the third sin you completed the theft. The fourth sin — you got caught and you lied; the fifth sin you then hated your friend. The sixth sin you hate others for putting you where you belong—in jail. The seventh sin, you did not ask for forgiveness from Jesus Christ.

 So now the circle is complete. And to think that all you wanted was the watch and now…look where you have ended-up. And to think, it was all over a stupid watch! Don’t stand there looking silly and stupid, look at your life and ask yourself, what areas have I fallen in and NEED forgiveness for?

1 John 3:18-22: “My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him. For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.”

John 3:17-21: “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.”

When you want something, you should take a moment and bring it before God. Then ask yourself, is this a necessity, a need, or a want? Far too many never notice that the Lord God gives daily the things we NEED, or is that last breath of air you just took, not needed by you? Is there is no clean water, no grains growing, animals grazing, air to breath, legs for walking, minds for thinking and last but never least, a heart for giving thanks to God?

Have you ever noticed that those the Lord has granted great wealth to have their own set of problems to deal with? Is it not enough for you to deal with your own problems, instead of wishing for things you may not be able to handle correctly? Do you remember the saying, “Perspective is everything?”

The reason for that saying is that you never know how difficult a situation is until it is your situation. The Lord KNOWS the intent of your heart and HE knows your needs and wants. Suffice it to say that you deal with what you have been given. Your wants may get you in more trouble, than you would be able to get out of. Ask Al Capone and many, many, others about WANTS. Stop and ask yourself, where are they today?

If you are pretty, then be truly pretty…inside and out. If you are a “good person” then continue to be a good person, inside and out. Learn to be trustworthy, honest, straight-forward. But before any of these, come to Jesus Christ and be born-again. If you’re going to live, then live for Jesus Christ…After all, HE created absolutely everything and HIS holy plans will come to be!
