As expected, reports of events related to Bible prophecy are coming in on a daily basis. Here are several examples:

Bible Prophecy One, the Bible teaches that Jesus will establish His throne, and His Word will go forth from Jerusalem during the Millennium (Psa. 132:13; Isa. 2:3; Jer. 3:17).

On May 14, 1948, U.S. Pres. Harry Truman recognized the nation of Israel. On May 14, 2018, exactly 70 years later (a Biblically significant number; approximately one generation; 10-7’s), the U.S. embassy will be moved to Jerusalem by order of U.S. Pres. Donald Trump.

Know that God is in control and the U.S. embassy could be moved this fall, next year, or any other time. But the embassy is being moved exactly 70 years after May 14, 1948. Each person should decide if it is an amazing coincidence or if God is speaking.

Also, don’t forget that this has implications for a rebuilt Temple. Those that want to rebuild it can only do so if they have access to the Temple Mount.

Bible Prophecy Two, on Feb. 22, 2018, it was reported that, other than the U.S., Israel is holding talks with ten more nations about moving their embassy to Jerusalem.

Bible Prophecy Three, the Bible teaches that the whole world will see the bodies of the Two Witnesses lying in the streets of Jerusalem; the gospel will go all over the world, etc. during the Tribulation Period.

On Feb. 22, 2018, it was announced that Space-X will blanket every rural area of the U.S. with high-speed gigabit Internet service within 24 months.

Space-X intends to put 12,000 satellites in earth orbit by the mid-2020’s. These satellites will make high-speed Internet service available all over the earth and everyone will be able to see the Two Witnesses, hear the gospel, etc.

Bible Prophecy Four, the Bible teaches that Israel will be back in the Promised Land and prospering when the Battle of Gog and Magog takes place (Ezek. 38:12).

On Feb. 19, 2018, it was reported that two companies in Israel have signed an agreement to sell $15 billion of Israeli natural gas to Egypt. This follows a 2016 agreement to sell more than $10 billion of natural gas to Jordan and a 2017 agreement with Greece and Cyprus to speed up the construction of a pipeline to Europe.

There is little doubt that Russia, Iran and others are paying attention to this.

Bible Prophecy Five, on Feb. 17, 2018, U.S. National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster spoke at a very important security conference in Germany. He said, “The time is now, we think, to act against Iran.”

Bible Prophecy Six, two days later, an Israeli general warned that the civil war in Syria is winding down and freeing up Iranian and Hezbollah troops for use against Israel.

The general said the chances of a war in 2018 are “higher than ever.”

Bible Prophecy Seven, the Bible teaches that Russia’s military will cover the land like a cloud during the Battle of Gog and Magog. This could be planes, helicopters, drones, etc.

On Feb. 19, 2018, 10 Russian Jets landed in Syria (2 fifth-generation Su-57 stealth fighters, 4 Su-35 fighters and 4 Su-25 strike aircraft). A new radar command-and-control platform was also delivered.

The 2 Su-57 Stealth Fighters can carry nuclear missiles. It is believed that Russia sent these jets to Syria to counter U.S. and Israeli aircraft.

On Feb.24, two more Su-57’s landed in Syria. If Israel has to deal with planes that can carry nuclear missiles, Israel will need to strike fast and hard.

Bible Prophecy Eight, On Feb. 23, 2018, it was reported that Pres. Trump has nominated Marvin Goodfriend to fill a vacancy on the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, and his nomination has now been approved by the U.S. Sen. Banking Committee.

In the past, Mr. Goodfriend has supported the idea of putting a magnetic strip in U.S. paper money to track its use. When a bill is spent, he wants to tax it based upon how long the owner has had it.

If a person spends the bill immediately, the tax might be zero. But if a person has kept the bill for a while, it would be taxed based upon how long the person has had it. Supposedly, the tax would cause a person to spend their money and not hoard it.

Senators Rand Paul and Elizabeth Warren may try to stop Mr. Goodfriend’s approval.

Prophecy 2018 

First, some of my thoughts on the shooting at Parkland High School.

I attended High School in the mid-to-late fifties. We had chapel with preaching in the gym once a week. It was okay to pray at the beginning of the school day, read the Bible in the Library and Study Hall, post the Ten Commandments in our classrooms and to tell our students that life is sacred.

It was okay to tell students that the Word of God says, “Thou shalt not kill.” Every student heard it and it didn’t seem to harm any of them.

Many students lived in the country (outside of the city limits). Most of their parents were gun owners. Some of those students hunted for sport or for food.

There was an occasional bully, occasional anger and some fights, but no school shootings.

Approximately ten years after I graduated, God and His teachings were being kicked out of most schools.

Some pastors were trying to avoid being controversial and they minimized sin from their pulpits.

Violence and substance abuse were being glorified on TV and in the movies.

Today, society is seeing the result of the spiritual and moral failure of our politicians and courts, and the soft approach to sin in our churches.

It may be too late to stop all school shootings and there are many aspects to the problem (psychiatric drugs, single-parent homes, etc.); but if the U.S. doesn’t return to the teachings of God in our schools and pulpits, sin will grow worse, not better.

Revival would help. Also, copy what is going on in the Israeli school system.

Second, some of my thoughts on Joy Behar’s suggestion that Vice Pres. Mike Pence is mentally ill because he thinks Jesus speaks to him (Note: Just before this article was sent in and after ABC received more than 25,000 complaints, Behar said she was joking, but few believed her).

The Bible says, “Thus saith the Lord” too many times for me to count; Jesus taught that demons can speak; He taught that His sheep know His voice; Peter taught that Bible prophecy came from holy men as they were moved by the Holy Spirit, and more.

Thus, the Bible teaches that people can hear the voice of Jesus and the voice of demons.

This makes it important for people to know the difference between good and evil, to identify the source of the voice and to listen to the good voice, not the evil voice.

Nikolas Cruz said voices told him to shoot the students at Parkland High School. Joy Behar’s rant proves her bigotry so she won’t understand this, but Nikolas Cruz should have been taught that God said, “Thou shalt not kill.”

Sadly, the fact that Behar doesn’t hear the voice of Jesus today means that she will hear it at the Great White Throne, if she doesn’t change.

Third, some of my thoughts on spirituality in the White House.

As I am writing this article, Pres. Trump’s Faith Advisory Board is in Israel.

On Feb. 20, 2018, they launched a first in history: Jewish-Christian Bible Study at the Israeli Knesset (Israel’s legislative branch; about 200 people attended).

It is impossible to predict the outcome of such a Bible Study (salvation of 144,000; salvation of all Israel; etc.), but there has never been a time when it was more important to strengthen our Judeo-Christian roots (Pres. Trump is working on a peace proposal; the Battle of Gog and Magog could be looming, etc.).

Fourth, on Feb. 20, 2018, members of Pres. Trump’s administration briefed UN Security Council members on the President’s Peace Proposal. They plan to release the details soon and believe the Arab nations are ready to settle the conflict.

Israel will probably be asked to give up more land, and this is not good.

Fifth, war is still raging in Syria and the situation is growing more dangerous by the day. One bad move could trigger any number of wars, including the destruction of Damascus and the Battle of Gog and Magog.

Sixth, it has been reported that the FBI, DHS and DNI will soon release a report documenting massive Democratic Party Voter fraud in the 2016 elections. The effort of Pres. Obama and Mrs. Clinton to undermine the 2015 election of Prime Min. Netanyahu in Israel seems to be coming back on them.
