Below are my comments on several stories that recently made the news.

One, according to the Bible, Israel will go back under the Law, rebuild the Temple, and resume the animal sacrifices, etc., during the Tribulation Period.

On July 19, 2018, Israel’s Knesset passed the 15^th Basic Law of Israel that, among other things, recognizes the feasts of the Lord as national holidays.

Doing that was a giant step toward going back under the Law.

Two, on Feb. 21, 2019, Pope Francis opened a summit at the Vatican to discuss the sexual abuse of children, nuns and others in the Roman Catholic Church.

An open letter by two prominent cardinals, Burke and Brandmuller, struck a note with me.

They said the Church is being accused of an abuse of power (and that is happening and it is very serious), but the issue is greater than an abuse of power.

The greatest sin is that the clergy that are committing these sins have abandoned “the truth of the gospel.”

It seems to me that “MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH” is a very appropriate title for the religious fornicators that are doing these things (Rev. 17:5).

If these sick men aren’t a fulfillment of II Tim. 3:1-7 (unholy, without natural affection, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God, form of godliness, etc.), I don’t know what that passage of Scripture means.

Three, I was recently honored to speak at a Church that had a visiting pastor in the congregation who had just returned from a trip to Israel.

The visiting pastor told me, “Buildings are going up all over Jerusalem. There were construction cranes sticking up in the air everywhere I looked.”

Jerusalem is growing in every direction, and that is a literal fulfillment of Bible prophecy.

Four, on Feb. 20, 2019, the UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, Nikolay Mladenoy, told the UN Security Council “the risk of war between Israel and the Palestinians continues to loom large.”

According to this UN official, several factors are pushing the situation to a “breaking point.”

Along this same line, on Feb. 17, 2019, Iran’s Foreign Minister said, “The chances of war with Israel are great.”

In fact, Iran has just announced that U.S. sanctions on Iran are having a major impact and causing the Iranian people to suffer.

The Battle of Gog and Magog won’t happen until God sets the hook, but God can trigger events to bring that on and set the hook anytime He wants.

We know that there will be war (possibly Psa. 83, Isa. 17, etc.) before Gog and Magog, but they (and Gog and Magog) could take place in rapid succession.

There could be an extended period of time between them, but we don’t know that it will be that way.

Five, since former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe’s interview on CBS News, there should be no more questions about the existence of a shadow government in the U.S.

McCabe admitted on video that officials in the FBI and DOJ discussed ways to bring down Pres. Trump.

His admission reveals real collusion.

Six, I have been asked if Pres. Trump’s faith advisers are warning him about dividing Israel and if I think he will be re-elected.

On Feb. 26, 2019, it was reported that Pres. Trump’s proposed peace plan is facing fierce opposition from Evangelicals in the U.S.

Pres. Trump’s faith advisers and several other church leaders have made it clear to him that they will oppose any proposal that endangers Israel (Praise God).

They told Mr. Trump that they supported him because of his strong support for Israel.

But if his position on Israel has changed, their position on him has changed.

The article didn’t say it, but I believe that there is a strong possibility that he cannot win the election in 2020, if he puts forth a plan to divide Israel and Jerusalem.

This will put Evangelicals in the middle, throw the door wide open on the next election and bring the judgment of God on America (This needs prayer).

Seven, in recent weeks, several states have rushed to remove all limits on abortion.

Some of the statements and proposals about killing babies are appalling.

Two signs of the last days are people without natural affection, and people who are lovers of their own selves (II Tim. 3:1-5).

In my opinion, among other things, any person that can kill a normal newborn baby is without natural affection.

Any mother that can kill her normal newborn baby under the pretense of protecting the mother’s own health is a lover of her own self.

This article would be too long if I discussed all of the news that has taken place in the last few days that relates to Bible prophecy, so I am going to narrow it down to five things that seem very important.

First, Rapture Ready posted an excellent article by T.W. Tramm called “God’s Numerical Patterns: Israel’s 70^th Year & Bible Prophecy.” (You can find it posted by going to raptureready.com, clicking on Rapture Ready News, and clicking on 12 Feb 2019 in the right margin.)

Many Christians don’t understand the importance of Bible numbers (and we have to be careful), but there is wide agreement that God is a mathematical God, and Bible numbers are significant (Google “Bible number 70”; Google “Bible number 40”; Google “Bible Number 7”; etc.).

This is the point: God measures time in several ways (1,000-days called Millennial Days; 50-year cycles called Jubilee Cycles; 70-year cycles, etc.), and all of these ways of measuring time are hitting on significant numbers right now.

The numbers appear to be saying that the world is reaching a significant point on God’s prophetic clock.

Second, at the same time that the significant numbers are converging, the prophetic signs are converging:

• The False Prophet will head up a world religion, and Pope Francis is making great strides toward unifying some of the religions.
• The Antichrist will head up a world government, and globalists in the U.S. want a world government so bad they are trying to topple Pres. Trump.
• The Tribulation Period will begin when the Antichrist confirms a covenant for seven years of peace in the Middle East, and Pres. Trump plans to release a peace proposal for peace in the Middle East later this year.
• The Bible prohibits the division of Israel and Jerusalem, and there are reports that Pres. Trump’s peace proposal will divide Israel and Jerusalem.
• There will be a global economic collapse after the Rapture, and the U.S. debt just passed $22 trillion.
• The Antichrist and False Prophet will track all buying and selling during the Tribulation Period, and the technology to do that was discussed at The World Government Summit earlier this month, etc.

Third, there have been many proposals for peace in the Middle East, but, at the time they were presented, all of the numbers and signs were not converging.

Pres. Trump’s peace proposal appears to be the first peace proposal to be presented at the same time that all the numbers and signs are converging.

It has been slightly more than 70 years (perhaps one generation) since Israel became a nation, and all previous peace proposals were before Israel’s 70^th anniversary.

Fourth, the Tribulation Period will begin after the Rapture when the Antichrist confirms a peace treaty with many for seven years of peace in the Middle East (Dan. 9:27).

When the Antichrist confirms that treaty with many, world leaders will declare “peace and safety” (some people say “peace and security”). “Peace and safety” and “peace and security” are the same thing); and then sudden destruction will come (I Thess. 5:1-3).

Up until now, the Iranians and Palestinians have tried to thwart a peace treaty, and the Arabs have refused to negotiate a peace treaty until Israel meets Palestinian demands.

On Feb. 13-14, 2019, U.S. Vice President Mike Pence, U.S. Sec. of State Mike Pompeo and Pres. Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner met in Warsaw, Poland, with officials from about 60 nations “To Promote A Future Of Peace And Security In The Middle East.”

With Israel’s Prime Min. Netanyahu and officials from 10 Arab nations present, Mr. Kushner told the group that Pres. Trump’s plan is finished, it will be released after the elections in Israel on April 9, 2019, and, although it is a long shot, he is optimistic about its chances of getting approved.

Significant decisions coming out of this conference to promote peace and security in the Middle East are that Iran will be dealt with and Palestinian demands will no longer prevent the Arabs and Israel from being friends so that peace and security can prevail in the Middle East.

Pictures were taken and published with many leaders (including Mike Pence, Mike Pompeo, Jared Kushner, Benjamin Netanyahu and others) standing in front of a large sign that read “Ministerial To Promote A Future of Peace and Security in the Middle East.”

It is difficult to see how God can make things any clearer than pictures of many officials standing in front of a sign that has the words “Peace and security in the Middle East.”

Fifth, Israel’s Prime Min. Netanyahu told the group that Iran is capable of producing nuclear weapons within two years, if Iran decides to do it.

He was very clear about the possibility of a war with Iran and the possibility that Israel and the Arab nations will be partners; and the two-year number indicates that it might not be long before something happens.
