The month of April showered us with prophetic news from its beginning to its end. And the month of May appears to promise more to come. Metaphorically speaking, will those April showerings bring May flowerings? Let’s begin with the events in April, including the feasts of Israel. Those are not scary; rather they are “a shadow of things to come; but the body (the substance) is of Christ” (Colossians 2:17).

April began with the worldly celebration of Easter, or what Christians prefer to call the celebration of Jesus’ resurrection day. This year it just so happened to coincide with the first day of the Jewish Passover feast (April 1).

On Passover (Pesach), the Jews celebrate their deliverance from slavery in Egypt by sacrificing an unblemished lamb. The blood of the lamb on that first Passover, which was sprinkled on the doorposts of the faithful Jews in Egypt, spared them from the tenth plague that God sent upon Egypt – the death of every firstborn son.

On Passover, Christians remember the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God who took away the sins of the world (John 1:29, 36). Those who believe in Him as their Savior (John 3:16) will be spared from the “wrath to come” (1 Thessalonians 1:10; 5:9) and will spend eternity with Him.

April 7^th saw the citizens of Douma (a suburb of Damascus in Syria) showered with nerve gas inside of barrel bombs that were dropped from helicopters, according to eyewitnesses. The rebels in Syria do not have air power, lest anyone should think it was them that committed the atrocity.

On April 9, Iran’s National Nuclear Technology Day, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said that the United States would regret withdrawing from the nuclear deal, and that Iran would respond in “less than a week” if that happened.

That same day, the Israelis conducted a strike on Iranian headquarters inside a Syrian airbase. The Israeli strike was said to be in retaliation for the Iranian drone that managed to invade Israeli territory in February. Tests had recently revealed that the drone was armed with explosives; therefore, obviously on its way to carry out an attack in Israel.

A senior IDF official said, “This is the first time we saw Iran do something against Israel – not by proxy.” He added that the strike on the Iranians at T-4 in Syria “was the first time we attacked live Iranian targets – both facilities and people.” Several of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard died in the attack.

And who could forget the coordinated airstrikes by the US, Britain and France on buildings believed to contain chemical weapons or research regarding chemical weapons in Syria. The strikes occurred on the night of Friday, April 13^th in the US (on the 14^th in Syria).

On April 18, Iran celebrated its Army Day by unveiling a new missile system. Iran’s President Hassan Rohani vowed that Iran would make or buy any weapons it needed.

On April 19, Israel celebrated its Independence Day (which occurred on that day this year according to Israel’s 360-day calendar, even though the original date of Israel’s rebirth was on May 14, 1948).

While this celebration in Israel was taking place, a 5.5 magnitude earthquake struck near Iran’s only operating nuclear power station. This stirred up a massive sandstorm that engulfed the center of Iran. Iranian headlines called it “apocalyptic.” Many called it a judgment from God for Iranian threats against Israel.

On April 21^st, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif warned that Iran is ready to “vigorously” resume nuclear enrichment if the United States ditches the 2015 nuclear deal, and further “drastic measures” are being considered in response to a US exit.

On April 29, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, in a meeting with Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu, expressed US support for Israel in defending itself against the increasing danger from Iran’s presence in Syria.

Also on April 29, a satellite image showed recent activity at the Fordo nuclear facility in Iran. Another image showed that a gate leading to “uranium enrichment tunnels” was open. Also noted was the construction of new buildings at the site.

Hours later, airstrikes showered several weapons bases in Syria with bunker-buster bombs. Reports say the intent was to destroy recent weapons shipments to Syria from Iran that were stored underground. Israel has neither confirmed nor denied responsibility.

According to an April 30^th Haaretz report, “defense and political sources told Russia and the US, following Iran’s threats to react against attacks on their assets in Syria overnight, that if Iran attacks Israel from Syria, either itself or through its proxy Hezbollah, Jerusalem will not hold back and will respond forcefully, targeting Iranian soil.”

On April 30, the Israeli Knesset gave the prime minister the authority to declare war or order a major military operation by consulting only with the defense minister rather than waiting on a full cabinet vote as the law previously required.

Later that evening, Netanyahu announced to the world the proof that Iran’s nuclear weapons program is still ongoing, despite the Iran deal in 2015. He spoke of the intelligence operation where Mossad agents smuggled tens of thousands of documents out of Iran regarding Iran’s nuclear program.

Now we come to May. You will never look at Maypole dances in the same way when you research the origins of May Day.

In Germany, Walpurgisnacht takes place from the night of April 30^th to May 1^st. It takes its name from St. Walburga, a Catholic saint, whose feast day is celebrated on May 1st. She was known as the protector against sorcery and witchcraft. Traditionally, it is the night when witches would gather together on the Brocken, the highest peak of the Harz mountain range in central Germany, and celebrate the triumph of spring over winter. The Brocken is surrounded in mystery due to the mist and clouds that shroud the peak, and according to legend, is the home of witches and the devil. – source

The Celtic neopagans and the Wiccans are among those who still celebrate Beltane. Beltane comes from the meaning “fire of Bel,” in which Bel is the “bright or shining one.” Bel is mentioned in the Bible as the false god of the Babylonians (Isaiah 46:1; Jeremiah 50:2; 51:44). All false religions have their roots in ancient Babylon.

Some neopagans celebrate Beltane by reenacting traditional Celtic practices while others, including Wiccans, celebrate by honoring “the divine feminine” and “the union of the god and goddess.”

The May Queen (the personification of the Earth goddess and goddess of fertility) makes her entrance during this festival that begins on the evening before May 1^st. A bonfire is lit to welcome the Beltane morning, along with a ritual dance. Half-naked or even fully-naked people participate in the revelry… and what results from it.

In the Catholic religion, the entire month of May is dedicated to Mary. Some Roman Catholic organizations celebrate Mary on May 1^st with a May crowning of flowers on statues of Mary. Angelo Mary Geiger, a Franciscan Friar, composed a poem to Mary titled “Queen of the May.” See at this link.

In 1955, Pope Pius XII established the Feast of “St. Joseph the Worker” to be celebrated on May 1. This May Day, “International Workers‘ Day,” is believed to reflect Mary’s husband Joseph’s status as the patron of workers. This feast was originally celebrated by Catholics on March 19 with prayers to St. Joseph “who can help one find work.” See this link.

Sixty-six countries around the world celebrate the May 1^st rite of spring as “International Workers’ Day,” with strikes for workers’ rights. To see examples of the May Day anarchy protests (including violent riots) that took place around the world this year, see here. Riots in France appeared to be the most violent.

Friday, May 4^th marked the sixth consecutive week of Gaza protestors burning tires, hurling stones, etc., and trying to damage Israel’s border fence. According to a report from Arutz Sheva, some 7,000 Arabs rioted throughout the day, flying kites with burning items, intending to ignite fires in Israel. An explosive device was hurled at Israeli troops who responded with riot dispersal means and fire in accordance with the rules of engagement.

On Friday evening, dozens of rioters set fire to the “Palestinian” Arab side of the Kerem Shalom crossing between Israel and Gaza. The IDF said the rioters damaged the gas and fuel pipelines that run from Israel to Gaza. “This is a cynical act which damages the wellbeing of the people of Gaza and the Humanitarian efforts carried out by Israel and other countries,” the IDF spokesperson stated.

May 12 is the deadline regarding a decision on the Iranian nuclear deal. President Trump has previously said the deal is dead unless the European signatories can fix it by then. He said, “It should have never, ever been made. We paid $150 billion dollars – we gave $1.8 billion in cash – that’s actual cash, barrels of cash. It’s insane, it’s ridiculous; it should have never been made.”

A top adviser to Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, warned Europe and the U.S. against seeking any changes to the deal.

May 14 is the ceremony to open the US embassy in Jerusalem. President Trump says he may attend. This occurs on the 70^th anniversary of Israel’s rebirth as a nation.

May 15 is the 70^th anniversary of the futile invasion of Israel by five Arab nations. Surely it was the hand of God that saved the new, unprepared little nation of Israel from these invaders. On this May 15^th, the Gazans hope to have more protestors than ever on the final day of their so-called “march of return.” Come hell or high water, they’re determined to destroy and/or break through the Israeli border fence.

Those who defy Israel’s warnings and attempt to break through that border fence believe that if they’re martyred for the cause of Islam, they’ll receive a guarantee of salvation promised by the god they worship (Allah). The Qur’an, hadith and Islamic scholars all mention that virgins will be awarded to Muslim men in Paradise for their pleasure. That wouldn’t be the God of the Bible, in case anyone who is reading this has been duped by the father of lies to believe it is.

Pentecost falls on May 20 this year, when Christians celebrate the day the Holy Spirit descended on Jesus’ disciples seven weeks after His Ascension. This is considered to be the day when the church began.

Also, the Jewish Feast of Weeks (Shavout) falls on May 20 this year, which is celebrated seven weeks after Passover. Biblically, the Feast of Weeks is “the day of firstfruits” (Numbers 28:26) and the “feast of harvest” (Exodus 23:16) in which the Jews were commanded to “present an offering of new grain to the Lord.” The firstfruits of the wheat harvest were made into two loaves of bread with yeast.

“You shall bring from your dwelling places two loaves of bread to be waved, made of two tenths of an ephah. They shall be of fine flour, and they shall be baked with leaven, as firstfruits to the Lord” (Leviticus 23:17).

From GotQuestions.org: “Like other Jewish feasts, the Feast of Weeks is important in that it foreshadows the coming Messiah and His ministry. Each and every one of the seven Jewish Feasts signifies an important aspect of God’s plan of redemption through Jesus Christ… Some see the two loaves of leavened bread that were to be a wave offering as foreshadowing the time when the Messiah would make both Jew and Gentile to be one in Him (Ephesians 2:14-15).”

Since the Temple was destroyed in 70 AD, this offering to the Lord cannot be celebrated. The Jews do commemorate this day as the giving of the Law (the Torah; Ten Commandments), considered to be the day on which Judaism was born.

The Unveiling of the “Peace” Plan

The Trump administration is planning to unveil its “peace” plan shortly after the May 14 opening of the US embassy in Jerusalem. US Mideast envoy Jason Greenblatt said, “I ultimately believe there may be a clear path toward peace,” adding that it will be “up to the parties themselves” to negotiate and conclude an accord.

Leaders of certain Arab nations told M. Abbas (who says he’ll accept no plan coming from the US) that he must accept the peace plan or step down. Israel is being encouraged to accept it as well. A part of the plan has just been leaked. Apparently Israelis will be asked to move out of four Arab neighborhoods in East Jerusalem that would become the “Palestinian” capital.

President Trump doesn’t expect Abbas to go along with this, but it appears that many others will. No, I’m not saying this is the Daniel 9:27 confirming of the covenant with many that the Antichrist will put into effect. Rather, I see it as a forerunner to it. Regardless, God is not happy with any nation that works toward dividing His covenanted land with Israel.

Extreme weather events have been known to coincide with attempts by leaders of nations to divide Israel, not to mention what befell Ariel Sharon after the implementation of his Gaza disengagement plan, also known as “Gaza expulsion,” which consisted of the withdrawal of the Israeli army from Gaza and the dismantling of all Israeli settlements in the Gaza Strip in 2005. Israel is still paying a heavy price for that blunder, proving that giving up “land for peace” does not work.

God tells us in the book of Joel, chapter 3, that in the days when He brings back the captives to Israel, He will judge all the nations for the treatment of His heritage Israel and for dividing His land (Joel 3:1-2). This will be at the Battle of Armageddon.

The captives have returned to their land as prophesied, and it is in this 70 to 80 year generation (Psalm 90:10) that the nation of Israel was reborn.

In all that is happening today, it would seem likely that the fulfillment of Isaiah 17 and Ezekiel 38-39 is near. It surely is an amazing time to be alive, seeing last days Bible prophecy fulfilling before our very eyes. But while we are watching all this go down, we should be looking up. Jesus is coming soon in the air to “catch up” (rapture) his true believers before the wrath to come during the Tribulation, followed by His Second Coming.

Will we just hear threats between nations going back and forth during this month of May that appears to be more scary than merry? Will there be a Mayday call of distress, so to speak?

No matter what happens in the days ahead as we wait on the Lord’s timing, we know that He is in control. Many of us are growing wearier every day of this sin-filled world, but let us continue to be watchmen on the wall, sharing the gospel as we warn others of what is coming in the near future. Those of us in Christ need not fear.

“Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom” (Luke 12:32).

The third annual “Catharsis on the Mall” – a scaled-down version of the annual, pagan Burning Man Festival – cast its spell in Washington, D.C., from November 10 through 12. It was designed to be a political protest and spiritual vigil. But it was the spirit of the biblically-prophesied, one-world Antichrist government and one-world false religion that will exist during the Tribulation.

The blasphemous event took place in our nation’s capital this past weekend that claimed to be a “vigil for healing.” However, it was anything but. It actually had two agendas: One is the destruction of our nation. The other is the worst one of all. It is an in-your-face rebellion against God.

For those who may not know what the Burning Man Festival is about, the following was spoken by Pastor Jack Hibbs as he was referring to the downfall of nations in his study of Isaiah chapter 3 (which he covers in 3 one-hour parts on his YouTube channel, “Real Life Jack Hibbs”), comparing what happened then to what is happening now in our nation (and the world). The same pattern has always occurred throughout history.

“A speaker at a Dallas theological conference pointed out a wave that is sweeping the world among young people. One of the events is called Burning Man.  Burning Man in Nevada sold out faster than any event in human history—100,000 tickets in less than one second. It’s a very pagan event. All these people show up in the desert and create a city. They erect a 100-foot high man. The event is the 60’s hippie movement on steroids: lots of drugs, nakedness, sex and weirdness. The mantra of these events is “do whatever you want to do.” (That is also the mantra of the Satanists). At the end everyone gathers around and chants and burns this man effigy. Sister events happen in Europe as well.” — Jack Hibbs, “Howz it Goin?’” study of Isaiah chapter 3.

These liberal-left “progressives” need to keep their heathen, New-Age shenanigans confined to the burning-hot desert. There, they get a taste, albeit an infinitesimally small one, of where their deserted souls are pulling them. However, that place will be much hotter, unless they turn to the True God, who came to Earth in the flesh to die for the sins of those who put their faith in Him.

Their demon-gods festival occurred in a place that is already a veritable swamp of like-minded minions. That would be the Marxist, Godless politicians who are angrily gnashing their teeth in their quest, which is to wrest back power in order to finish tearing down the republic under God upon which this nation was built. It is the only nation standing in the way of their desired global government.

This foreign-god fiasco featured a 70-foot-long metal dragon on wheels that doubled as a stage. At the conclusion of all the mayhem, they set a wooden “temple” aflame. The events were described like so: “where ‘cascading into compassion’ and ‘Consciousness Hacking’ meet up.”

Consciousness Hacking, according to the site tekgnostics, is “a series of techniques (yogas) and an array of technologies (tantras) designed to promote mindfulness, develop clarity and invigorate internal energy or life force (chi or prana).”

The Gnostic cult believes in self-redemption. As for ‘cascading into compassion,’ the compassion of these liberal-left lost ones only extends to those of their persuasion, and most certainly not to Christians. And the only energy or life force their consciousness hacking summons up is demonic.

I didn’t watch any of the festivities, but the plans were to hold a protest march, which was to begin at the break of dawn on Sunday, November 12, in which this massive metal dragon, known as Abraxas (also a staple at the Burning Man Festival), would be rolled through the streets around the Capitol building. Carl Jung transcribed a Gnostic treatise in 1916, which called Abraxas the “supreme power of being, transcending both God and the Devil, uniting all opposites into one.”

The theme of this demon-stration was women’s-lib based. This political movement bears no resemblance to the women’s suffrage movement of another century. This modern women’s lib movement, which gained popularity in the 1960s, has become more and more brazen through the years. It is quite “nasty,” to use their own word from their January 2017 women’s march. Basically, they’d like to throw all the men that they’re unable to make “effeminate” into a “burning man” fire, thus allowing them to rule the world themselves.

Originally, there was to be a 47-foot tall statue of a naked woman called R-Evolution at this sinful event, but permission was withdrawn. The reason given was that the statue is too tall and would overshadow the Washington Monument, also possibly damage the turf. Organizer, Natalie White, claims that this is a violation of their First Amendment rights. How ironic is that? The organizers are considering legal action.

In the place of the R-Evolution statue, they erected scaffolding for a virtual image of a nude woman called “Our Evolution,” which was half as tall and represented the women organizers with their actual nude bodies morphed into this one virtual image. Supposedly, this thing will be allowed to stand for four months.

The libbers now plan to hold a daily vigil for female empowerment outside the White House through February.

Speaking of the Washington Monument, a sculpture of the Hindu Shiva god, The Destroyer, in its dancing form called Lord Nataraja, faced the monument. I’ll discuss what Shiva is and what it represents shortly, but first I’d like to discuss one of the last steps in the historical downfall of nations. I will save the ten steps for the conclusion.

The following are further notes I typed up from Pastor Jack Hibbs’ study of Isaiah chapter 3:

Isaiah’s calling as a prophet was primarily to the nation of Judah and to the city of Jerusalem. He urged the people to repent from their sins and return to God. He also foretold the coming of the Messiah and the salvation of the Lord, also the End of Days events.

They (Judah) had turned away from God and turned to foreign gods. Now the commander of the Assyrian forces was getting ready to attack. God allowed this because they had ignored His warnings to turn back to Him.

Deuteronomy 4:27-30 “And the Lord will scatter you among the peoples, and you will be left few in number among the nations where the Lord will drive you. And there you will serve gods, the work of men’s hands, wood and stone, which neither see nor hear nor eat nor smell. But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul, when you are in distress and all these things come upon you in the latter days…”

Isaiah 3:9 “The look on their countenance witnesses against them, and they declare their sin as Sodom; They do not hide it. Woe to their soul! For they have brought evil upon themselves.”

Mankind brings evil upon his own self. God doesn’t bring the evil upon man. Mankind creates the vacuum by backing away from God, from which the evil comes in. (In this chapter of Isaiah, we see sexual immorality and men who were too weak to rule.)

Isaiah 3:12 “As for My people, children [childish leaders] are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O My people! Those who lead you cause you to err, and destroy the way of your paths.”

The women God is speaking of here, who will rule over them, are not good women; they are harsh, hard women (jezebel types: shameless, morally unrestrained.)

The worst idea that these feminists, or women’s libbers, or whatever, got into their heads is, ‘We’re equal to a man!’ That actually took women a step down. God made the woman a special possession for a man to cherish. But feminists ruined all that.

One of the signs of a dying culture (you can research this and see it’s true) is that women begin to be brazen and aggressive like men. And sexual immorality is the final straw in every civilization before it falls. It dies from the inside. Every single civilization has seen its demise when it becomes like this.

Proverbs 5:3-6 “For the lips of an immoral woman are as sweet as honey, and her mouth is smoother than oil. But in the end she is as bitter as poison, as dangerous as a double-edged sword. Her feet go down to death; her steps lead straight to the grave. For she cares nothing about the path to life. She staggers down a crooked trail and doesn’t realize it.”

Isaiah 3:18 “In that day the Lord will take away the finery of the anklets, the headbands, and the crescents…” (Crescent moons—ancient Babylonian worship of the moon. They had 360 gods, one for every day on the 360-day calendar. Islam’s Mohammad adopted the Babylonian god symbol that predated Islam by thousands of years. (Every false religion/false god has its roots in ancient Babylon.)

Joshua 24:15 “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

If anyone thinks America is too big to fail, then they’ve never read history. They’ve never read the Bible. God is patient. He’s been good to America, and America has not been good to Him. Today we have people going against our Constitution, revising real history into lies that suit their agenda.

And, of course, look what the UN and the Arabs are trying to do to Jewish history. God sees and hears all.

In Nimrod’s day (in Genesis), everyone spoke one language (Hebrew). There are translations of the Bible that say “Nimrod was a mighty hunter before the Lord.”  But the original Hebrew says that Nimrod was a mighty hunter “at” or “upon” the Lord. Nimrod’s goal in building the tower was in thinking he could ascend into the heavens and deal with God. What was he thinking? Did he think he could destroy God and take His place?

This spirit that was in Nimrod is one of a godless culture, and this spirit is literally sweeping Europe, which believes that politics will deliver them. One of their leaders said we don’t care if it’s a demon or an angel as long as somebody leads us.

[The quote he referred to has been attributed to socialist Paul Henri-Spaak, former Prime Minister of Belgium and first chairman of the General Assembly of the United Nations, who is also considered to be one of the founding fathers of the European Union. Here is the quote:

“We do not want another committee. We have too many already. What we want is a man of sufficient stature to hold the allegiance of all people, and to lift us out of the economic morass in which we are sinking. Send us such a man and, be he God or the devil, we will receive him.”]

Now back to Jack:

Their economy is falling apart. They’ve even tried to call the EU the USE, United States of Europe, as if this would make people think that if the US can do it, they can too. But the difference is that the US constitution has God written all over it. The EU, in a meeting, actually said there would be no God in their constitution. And so it is. Now let’s get into what Shiva is all about. The Hindu god, Shiva The Destroyer, in its dancing form (Lord Nataraja) looked upon the Washington Monument. The significance of this sculpture is this:

According to Hindu belief, Shiva’s role is to destroy the universe in order to re-create it. Hindus believe his powers of destruction and recreation are used even now to destroy the illusions and imperfections of this world, paving the way for beneficial change. They believe this destruction is not arbitrary, but constructive.

Shiva is therefore seen as the source of both good and evil and is regarded as the one who combines many “contradictory” elements. Shiva is known to have untamed passion, which leads him to extremes in behavior. — BBC, Religions: Shiva.

The Shiva Dancing Destroyer statue can also be seen at the entrance to the controversial CERN Hadron Collider location. Scientists hope that this collider will unlock the secrets of how the universe began and what it’s made of, which they believe is mostly made up of “dark matter.” They could save themselves all the trouble by looking in the Bible.

The Shiva statue at this event represented the Marxist, globalist agenda of tearing down the world and rebuilding it into their Godless New World Order.

The liberal-left makers of mayhem have allowed themselves to become—and stay—deceived by the father of lies. They’d rather worship false gods. This also includes the globalists’ favorite god, the Mother Earth Gaia (nature) goddess. They worship created things rather than the Creator.

God’s Word has a lot to say about all this and its consequences in Romans 1:18-32:

“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.

“Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man—and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things. Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

“For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves [within their bodies] the penalty of their error which was due.

“And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.”

Jesus said in Luke 17 that, when He returns, the world will be just like it was in the days of Noah and Lot.

When Jesus removes His own (who are not destined for wrath, according to 1 Thess.5:9), catching them away in what we refer to as the rapture (1 Thess.4:16-17), these humanist heathen will “get what they ask for” during the seven-year Tribulation. Woe to the world when that happens, for it will be the Antichrist who will rule the left behind. All the while, God’s 21 Revelation judgments will rain down upon those who rejected Christ, the only one who could save their eternal souls.

I will conclude with the ten stages of a nation’s decline, which have always followed the same pattern in history. This is from an article titled, “Decline of a Nation:”

Each of the great civilizations in the world passed through a series of stages from their birth to their decline to their death. Historians have listed these in ten stages.

The first stage moves from bondage to spiritual faith. The second stage moves from spiritual faith to great courage. The third stage moves from great courage to liberty. The fourth stage moves from liberty to abundance. The fifth stage moves from abundance to selfishness. The sixth stage moves from selfishness to complacency. The seventh stage moves from complacency to apathy. The eighth stage moves from apathy to moral decay. The ninth stage moves from moral decay to dependence. And the tenth and last stage moves from dependence to bondage.

These are the ten stages through which the great civilizations have gone. Notice the progression from bondage to liberty back to bondage. The first generation throws off the shackles of bondage only to have a later generation, through apathy and indifference, allow itself to once again be enslaved. (Marxism and Socialism lead to Communism, which enslaves everyone.)

This is the direction this and every other country is headed. The book of Judges shows that the nation of Israel passed through these same stages. Isaiah 55:6-7 “Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.”
