Stupidocrisy: Harvard :: By Bill Wilson

Harvard University is considered worldwide as the standard-bearer for academic excellence and intelligence. Harvard boasts the likes of former presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush, among six other US Presidents, 11 US Attorney Generals, 16 Supreme Court Justices, and Presidents and Prime ministers from Ireland, China, India, Mongolia, Bolivia, Mexico, Singapore, Chile, Liberia, Columbia, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Canada, Somalia, Bhutan, Tanzania, and Hong Kong.

Also, several Nobel Prize winners and executives like dropouts Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg came from Harvard. The list goes on and on, and the influence of Harvard, not only in America but around the world, is unmatched.

Best College Reviews writes, “Harvard University possesses the title of America’s oldest learning institution, founded in 1636. At its inception, this university’s name was “New College,” whose purpose was mainly to educate clergy. In 1639, the school’s name became Harvard University, so named for the Rev. John Harvard. Harvard bequeathed half of his estate and his entire library to the school upon his death. This significant bequest led the school to honor him by taking his name.”

Harvard was established by the Massachusetts Bay Colony [which was settled in 1630 by a group of about 1,000 Puritan refugees from England]. The book New England’s First Fruits about early evangelization efforts of the Puritans states, “After God had carried us safe to New England…one of the next things we longed for and looked after was to advance learning and perpetuate it to Posterity; dreading to leave an illiterate ministry to the Churches when our present ministers shall lie in the dust.”

Imagine Reverend John Harvard’s reaction if he saw what has become of his beloved institute of higher learning in today’s times. Nothing could be more demonstrative of Harvard University’s spiritual condition than the recent announcement that it chose Greg Epstein, 44, a devout atheist and ‘humanist chaplain’ as president of the chaplains of Harvard.

During the 2020 election, Epstein was the national chair of Humanists for Biden/Harris. The Chaplains describe themselves as “a professional community of more than 30 chaplains, representing many of the world’s religious, spiritual, and ethical traditions, who share a collective commitment to serving the spiritual needs of the students, faculty, and staff of Harvard University.”

So much for the foundational doctrine of Christianity proclaimed by Christ in John 14:6, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

Harvard has drifted far from its original mooring as proclaimed in its motto, “Truth for Christ and the Church.”

Harvard has become a cesspool for secular humanist thought, an example of those forewarned in Romans 1:25-26, “Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator…. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections.”

Now Harvard has placed a capstone on its transformation with an atheist heading up its chaplaincy.

As we look at this latest move and the long list of the oh-so-smart world leaders from Harvard who have made quite the mess of things, we can say it without reservation… Stupidocrisy.

Foolish or Intentional, the Destruction Is the Same :: By Bill Wilson

Many of us tend to look at events, policies, and politicians as foolish, stupid, mistaken, lacking common sense, etc. But maybe we Americans need to view them as willfully and intentionally destroying the country so that it can be remade into a Marxist utopia. Whether they are bumbling idiots or steely-eyed practitioners of destruction, the results are the same.

It is time to treat them not as fools but as people with both lack of common sense AND intentionally ruining our country and our lives. Let’s call it what it really is and start demanding of our family, friends, neighbors, and elected officials to stand against the dung drama that has become a daily menu of destroying the freedoms that we hold so dear.

Think about it: Democratic presidents and representatives since Jimmy Carter have supported terrorists. It’s a long list—Arafat, the Ayatollahs, Muslim Brotherhood, Taliban, and so on. They have paid them with taxpayer dollars (your money and mine), they armed them, and they stand in the way of anyone who would stop them from these policies. Afghanistan is just the latest example.

Democratic politicians and presidents have opened our border to criminals, drug lords, and human trafficking. Obama’s Fast and Furious gave guns and money to the Mexican drug cartels. Biden is inviting “immigrants” to cross the border without any effort whatsoever to prevent COVID, while he is demanding American businesses mandate a COVID vaccine.

And what about that?

Americans are being badgered to get a vaccine that doesn’t prevent the disease and loses its efficacy after eight months. People who get the vaccine not only can contract COVID, but they can pass it on to others unknowingly. Wouldn’t it be better to embrace those who offer an alternative to the mainstream “science” that may work to prevent or treat this disease rather than ostracizing them?

Let’s rally together and consider every option to fight this pestilence. There’s more. Defund the police and watch crime soar. Allow sexual deviants into school systems to confuse and evangelize children. Create historic debt and raise taxes on everybody while lying to people, saying you are only going to tax the rich.

They label Christian practices as those that lead to domestic terrorism, celebrate Marxist rioters by calling them protesters, and they crack down on gun ownership while arming terrorists with assault weapons. These insane actions are committed not only by fools but by leaders trying to intentionally destroy America.

We need to be before the Lord. Psalm 28:2-4 says, “Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto you, when I lift up my hands toward your holy oracle. Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbors, but mischief is in their hearts. Give them according to their deeds.”

Yes, I cry out to the Lord each day. Foolish or intentional, the destruction is the same. Let’s call it what it is.
