China Arrests at Least Ten Christians in Raid of Private Bible Study
Police in the southwestern Chinese city of Guiyang raided a Christian bible study session held at a private residence this week, detaining at least ten participants, Radio Free Asia (RFA) reported Thursday. The Ren’ai Reformed Church was raided by officials including the civil affairs bureau and the police on the morning of March 16,” Huang, a Christian resident of Guiyang…told RFA on March 17.

Emergency authorities in Australia are warning of “life threatening” flash floods as torrential rains batter parts of the country’s east coast. Dozens of people have been rescued from floodwaters, and residents in many low-lying communities of New South Wales have been ordered to leave their homes. Police say hundreds of people have flocked to evacuation centres in areas north of the city of Sydney.

A massive 7.2. magnitude earthquake has triggered a tsunami in Japan after a quake struck off the coast of Miyagi Prefecture. Waves of up to one meter hit land 20 minutes after the earthquake hit at around 6.09pm on March 20, NHK reported. Japan’s meteorological agency issued a tsunami warning after the quake hit, as the U.S. consulate urged people to seek higher ground.
BREAKING: Eruption At Fagradalsfjall
The Icelandic Met Office has just reported that an eruption has begun at Fagradalsfjall, long expected to be the location of a possible volcanic eruption. This eruption is being called Geldingadalsgos, after Geldingardalur, the valley where the eruption is taking place. The announcement states that the first announcements of an eruption came to the Met Office at 21:40 Icelandic time, and were later confirmed visually. Scientists and the Grapevine are on the way to the location now for further reporting.

French President Emmanuel Macron accused Iran on Thursday of continuing to violate a 2015 nuclear deal with world powers, and said Tehran should act responsibly.
