Kinneret rises additional 10 centimeters
The Kinneret’s (Sea of Galilee) rose 10 centimeters (approximately about four inches) since Monday, the Water Authority noted. The rise, similar to the one reported Monday, brings the Kinneret to 21 centimeters more than it was at the end of last week. Since the beginning of the rainy season, the lake has risen by 2.8 meters. Now standing at 1.14 meters above the lower red line, the Kinneret would have to rise another 3.06 meters to be full.

THAAD Deployed Permanently to Israel
The Israel Defense Forces has announced the U.S. THAAD anti-ballistic missile defense system is to be fully deployed, permanently, into the Israel-based Arrow anti-missile defense system. THAAD (Terminal High Altitude Area Defense) protects against tactical and theater ballistic missiles at ranges of 200 kilometers, and altitudes of up to 150 kilometers, intercepting the missiles both within and outside the atmosphere.

A Russian spy plane flew over Area 51 and several other military bases in the U.S. last week for a surveillance mission. The Tu-154M plane equipped with electro-optical imaging systems landed in Great Falls, Mont., on Wednesday to begin its surveillance mission of U.S. military installations as authorized under the Open Skies Treaty, The Drive reported. The surveillance flight flew over sites in California and Nevada, including Area 51 at Nellis Test and Training Range (NTTR).
