Lack of Judgment on Earth/Coming Judgment of the Lord :: By Ronda Lane

The world is oblivious to the coming judgment. But judgment is coming nonetheless.

“I hearkened and heard, but they spake not aright: no man repented him of his wickedness, saying, What have I done? every one turned to his course, as the horse rusheth into the battle. Yea, the stork in the heaven knoweth her appointed times; and the turtle and the crane and the swallow observe the time of their coming; but my people know not the judgment of the Lord” (Jeremiah 8:6-7).

“The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God” (Psalm 9:17).

Truth in journalism is dead. After reading what passes for ‘news’ today, I’ve seen numerous false allegations put in print. Just like the thousands of others over the last couple of years, the ‘news’ agencies will later print a retraction (in microscopic print), buried in one of the last pages. They think this covers their legal rear ends. But it doesn’t cover them from the judgment of God.

“It is not good to accept the person of the wicked, to overthrow the righteous in judgment” (Prov.18:5).

Remember when people were sued for fraudulent accusations? defamation? slander? libel? Yes, we remember. We also remember years back when far less people bore false witness altogether and lied less. People thought before they spoke slanderously. They feared the Lord. The courts also were to uphold a speedy trial, and lawyers weren’t to make a killing by stalling for months (or years).

“Thou shalt not raise a false report: put not thine hand with the wicked to be an unrighteous witness. Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment” (Exodus 23:1-2).

What happened? Right now we are seeing the result of courts being run by far leftist judges who base their ‘judgment’ on political leaning ideology (along with the ones who attempt to illegally legislate from the bench). There is no ‘blind justice’ today. Lawyers often now file actions to stall and pad their greedy pockets with even more ill-gained wealth.

“Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour. Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour; I am the Lord” (Leviticus 19:15-16).

Just this morning I read about the New Mexico judge who released the Islamic criminals on a $20,000 bond ($2,000 being 10% for bail). Even though children and women were starved near death, and one 3- year-old child’s body was found on the compound site. And he was teaching children to commit school shootings! The left has a love affair with Islam. And many (such as Laura Loomer, conservative journalist) who dare speak out about Islam are censored, silenced, and booted off of social media.

Amos 6:12 says that they “turned judgment into gall, and the fruit of righteousness into hemlock.”

“Why dost thou shew me iniquity, and cause me to behold grievance? for spoiling and violence are before me: and there are that raise up strife and contention. Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth” (Habakkuk 1:3-4).

Do the left really think that Islamists will give them a free pass if Islam were to gain control? Clearly their capacity for rational thinking has evaporated. Joining hands in rebellion against God is the draw for them. Romans 1:32 speaks of how they have pleasure in those that do the same (wickedness). Birds of a feather join in evil and praise each other for the evil they do.

“The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace” (Isaiah 59:8).

The US lady justice statue was represented with a blindfold, a set of scales in one hand, and a sword in the other. The blindfold was to represent that our judges would be impartial regarding the person’s race, color, religion, and other factors. The scales were to represent the weight of factual evidence, and they should not use false measures of that. The sword represented the swift and proportionate punishment awaiting a lawbreaker.

“A wicked man taketh a gift out of the bosom to pervert the ways of judgment” (Prov.17:23).

Today? Leftists have taken down and bashed to smithereens the lady justice statue: Her blindfold has been removed and replaced with rainbow-colored glasses; the scales have a cement block weighted against them for any conservative, Christian, libertarian, republican, or any other person who refuses to fall in line with the gestapo leftists. And the sword? That’s only wielded over those who tell the truth.

“And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter. Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the Lord saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment” (Isaiah 59:14-15).

But the real problem stems from the fact that there is no fear of God in society today. Most courtrooms don’t even use a Bible to swear in today! When you swore an oath on the Bible, you were making a promise/vow and realizing God would enforce it; if you broke that promise, you could expect divine retribution.

“The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net. That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge asketh for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up. The best of them is as a brier: the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity” (Micah 7:2-4).

They would do well to fear the Lord. His judgment is righteous.

“The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether” (Psalm 19:9).

“My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments” (Psalm 119:120).

“Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever” (Psalm 119:160).

Daniel witnessed similar events in his day. He knew that by departing from the Lord’s precepts and judgments it would bring God’s judgment upon them.

“We have sinned, and have committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from thy precepts and from thy judgments: Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land” (Dan.9:5-6).

In Daniel’s day, he was also grieved that they weren’t hearkening to the words of the prophets. This is similar to “churchianity” today. So few are teaching the prophetic word of God, even though Bible prophecy is now aligning with such rapidity that it’s difficult just to keep up with the events from day to day! God’s prophetic word has foretold everything we need to know. Yet so few are listening.

“Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets” (Amos 3:7).

Society has degraded to the point of no return. Isaiah 1:5 tells us about those whose “whole head is sick,” of those who revolt against the Lord more and more. The next verse shows that they don’t even realize how far gone the wickedness has rotted them!

“From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores: they have not been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment” (Isaiah 1:6).

Our court systems have become much like those rotten heads and putrifying sores. A mockery. Bribery and political ideology buys what passes for ‘justice’ these days. Lawlessness is one of the hallmark characteristics of these perilous last days. A large segment of the population is fine with lawlessness, false witness, lying deceit, evil wickedness, and so many other sinful actions. They feel (erroneously) ‘justified’ in unrighteous judgment, as long as it benefits them. Or at least they THINK it benefits them. They may receive a short-term and ill-gotten gain upon this earth, but it won’t be worth the eternity they are trading it on.

“For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?” (Matt.16:26).

We are witnessing the perilous last days. It’s grievous to witness. Yet we were warned in scripture that it was coming. We are also seeing massive amounts of folks who have rejected Christ and claim they do not even believe God exists. Romans 1:18-32 explains why this is, and why God has given them up and given them over to a reprobate mind.

“And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them” (Rom.1:28-32).

They have rejected God and all things good, and He has given them their heart’s desire (at least on this earth). They didn’t want to know the truth; they didn’t love righteousness and goodness. So God gave them what they thought they wanted; He turned them over and up to a reprobate mind. This is what we are seeing, folks. A world of Christ-rejecting and God-hating folks who cannot discern good from evil, nor truth from lies.

“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” (Isaiah 5:20).

They call evil good, and mock God’s coming judgment.

“Ye have wearied the Lord with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the Lord, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?” (Malachi 2:17).

But this will not stand for long. The mockery of the court system today and the mockery of God… God will recompense. His wrath is due this evil God-hating and Christ-rejecting world. His righteous judgment and wrath is coming soon for those who have rejected salvation in Christ!

“It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God” (Heb.10:31).

“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap” (Gal.6:7).

“According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recommence to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompence. So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him” (Isaiah 59:18-19).

We believers are so very weary. Yet we continue to share the gospel with the lost. Yet day by day… even moment by moment we are witnessing this world become darker and more wicked. We are often wondering how long? When will Christ Jesus take us up? He’s promised to deliver us from the wrath to come (1 Thes. 1:10, Rom. 5:9, 1 Thes. 5:9). His word even tells us how He will deliver us; the rapture! (1 Cor. 15:49-53, 1 Thes. 4:13-18). Hang in there believers; we are truly in the last moments of the age of grace/church age (Rom. 11:25). Soon He will take us up out of this sin-filled cesspool.

“Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you” (Isaiah 35:4).

We even see the progression of events in that very same chapter (Isaiah 35). Aligned with Romans 11:25-26. Just as Romans 11 foretells that Israel is “blind in part” during this current age, and will not have their eyes opened until the “fullness of the Gentiles be come in” (Rom. 11:25); so too do we see the same progression of events in Isaiah 35. The very next verse after the one we just read above?

“Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped” (Isaiah 35:5).

Jesus is soon to take us grace/church-age believers up in the rapture (1 Cor. 15:49-53, 1 Thes. 4:13-18), and THEN will He begin to open the eyes of Israel.

We also see this same progression of events in Ezekiel 38-39. After God thoroughly destroys the evil coalition that attempts to invade Israel on the Golan, THEN God will begin to open Israel’s eyes. (Ez. 39:22-29). This is why I believe that the rapture must occur prior to the end of Ezekiel 38-39.

These wicked folks today have willfully chosen darkness over light; evil over goodness; the devil over Christ, and are soon to see tribulation. In fact, they are soon to enter the tribulation.

“Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you” (2 Thes.1:6).

It’s dark in this world now, but the light of Christ is shining brightly in the darkness. It’s so much easier to see the contrast between light and darkness, the darker a night may be. God’s word uses the contrast between light and dark illustration numerous times. How sad that so many have willfully chosen darkness over light. But how wonderful for us whom Jesus has shown His glorious light shed abroad in our hearts and minds!

If you are feeling like we just don’t belong in this wicked world, it’s true! (Heb. 13:14, 1 Pet. 2:11, Phil. 3:20-21, et al). Paul struggled with his own desire and preference to be with the Lord rather than here in this wicked world (Phil. 1:23-24). Yet he realized that we are here to share the gospel with the lost, and both comfort and edify one another with and in God’s word.

“And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil” (John 3:19).

“And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not” (John 1:5).

“I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness” (John 12:46).

“To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me” (Acts 26:18).

“For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ” (2 Cor.4:6).

“And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light” (Rom.13:11-12).

Mankind cannot fix this mess. The wickedness and backwards judgment has gone too far. Only when Christ Jesus returns as King of kings and Lord of lords will there be true and righteous judgment upon this earth.

“But the Lord shall endure for ever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment. And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness” (Psalm 9:7-8).

“Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth” (Jer. 23:5).

“Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah. In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land. In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The Lord our righteousness” (Jer.33: 14-16).

“Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street. A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth. He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law” (Isaiah 42:1-4).

“But the Lord of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God that is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness” (Isaiah 5:16).

“Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this” (Isaiah 9:7).

“Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords” (1 Tim. 6:15).

“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war” (Rev. 19:11).

“And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords” (Rev. 19:15-16).

It is for this judgment and justice that we long for. Only then, when Christ Jesus rules and reigns in righteousness, will there be true judgment and justice upon this earth. But first? The rapture. Next? The horrific wrath of God meted out upon this God-hating and Christ-rejecting world. And then? Christ Jesus returns with us (Rev. 19:11-16) to first destroy the antichrist, false prophet, and those who accepted his mark and worshiped his image. Then Jesus will bring in a thousand years of righteous justice and judgment upon this earth!

And it doesn’t end there… there is even more true judgment and justice to come for eternity when, after the thousand-year reign, God creates a new heaven and new earth “wherein dwelleth righteousness” (2 Pet. 3:13, Revelation chapters 21-22).

“Yea, in the way of thy judgments, O Lord, have we waited for thee; the desire of our soul is to thy name, and to the remembrance of thee. With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness” (Isaiah 26:8-9).

Yes, our souls desire and long for the true judgment and justice that comes only by the Lord. He is soon coming to take us (grace/church-age believers) up in the rapture. Are YOU ready? Have you believed on Christ for salvation?

Maranatha!
