As the World Churns
There is so much concerning news to pray over that it’s getting harder to keep this weekly posting at a reasonable length. If we check the Rapture Ready News daily, we can pray over each day’s concerns. I’ve chosen just several news stories to share for this week’s prayer center post; however, please pray over the continuing devastation in Hawaii, current extreme weather events, and the satanic hatred aimed against Israel as the end-times prophesied battles loom ever closer.
An agenda against God
Children are taught in schools that we came from pond scum and gradually evolved into human beings. Babies are aborted by the millions, the family unit as God intended it is being destroyed, people are lovers of self – and then we wonder why so many don’t seem to value human life.
At Noblesville West Middle School in Indiana where students were taking a test, a student left class and then returned with two guns. He opened fire, injuring 13-year-old Ella Whistler and the teacher, Jason Seaman. Ella is in critical but stable condition, and Seaman, who was shot three times, has been released from the hospital. This teacher likely prevented more students from being shot by rushing at the shooter and disarming him. The shooter’s name is being withheld.

Millionaire abortionist Merle Hoffman says she enjoys her job very much. Hoffman runs a large abortion business in New York where viable unborn babies are aborted up to 24 weeks of pregnancy. “It’s today. This is my dream. My life is meaningful, challenging, stressful, and extremely exciting at times,” she said. She bragged that she helped establish one of the first abortion businesses in America in 1971.
The FBI has announced that they are launching an investigation into allegations that a Texas abortionist killed babies who were born alive. He also aborted babies well past the so-called 24-week “legal limit.” In 2012, four women who worked at the Houston-area abortion clinic run by Douglas Karpen told the pro-life activist group Operation Rescue that Karpen was killing babies born alive, and provided photographic evidence. An investigation found no violations of medical codes, and a grand-jury investigation declined to indict Karpen.
Operation Rescue “later learned the grand jury was tainted by improper communications between then-District Attorney Devon Anderson and Karpen’s criminal defense attorney Chip Lewis, who were close family friends.” Lewis later donated $25,000 to Anderson’s political campaigns.
Up until yesterday, the law in Ireland (since 1983) stated that the unborn have the right to life. The only legal abortions allowed were those in which there was a “real and substantial” risk to the life of the woman. After years of pressure, this law was put to a vote. Thousands of Irish nationals even flew back to Ireland from all over the world in order to vote to repeal the ban on abortion. Many of those who want abortion legalized are young people. One flyer described feeling exhilarated at the prospect of abortion being made legal and felt heartened to see that so many shared this dream.
Well, they got their way. By a 66% vote, the death penalty for the unborn has been reinstated in Ireland. Minister of Defense Leo Varadkar said, “”Today is a historic day for Ireland. A quiet revolution has taken place, and today is a great act of democracy.”
If someone declares himself a Christian in Western Europe, he does it shamefacedly, or is even afraid to admit it. It started with some very serious brainwashing, and multiple generations have been raised by such logic. Why are western nations being targeted? It’s part of the agenda against Christianity. Many European politicians are traitors. Indeed, so are many politicians the world over.
In England, Tommy Robinson, a British activist and journalist, was arrested outside a courtroom and immediately taken to prison. For what? For livestreaming information about the Muslim gang on trial for raping and grooming hundreds of victims, some as young as eleven.
It is well-documented that the authorities in England have tried to cover up the Muslim gang rape epidemic. The police in Rotherham ignored Pakistani gangs sexually abusing over 1,400 British children, as reported by Forbes in 2014, in order to not appear “racist.”
In California, the Rancho Cucamonga High School yearbook contains a two-page Islam spread entitled “ALLAH AKBAR.” The yearbook contains no pages on Judaism, Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, etc. Why only Islam? Because it’s a direct statement against God. How is that? Read on…
Allahu Akbar means Allah is greater—as in greater than your god. This declaration of superiority was first shouted by Mohammad upon defeating the Jews in battle in the 7th century AD, and it is heard by Islam’s mass murderers around the world. 9/11 hijacker Mohamed Atta reminded himself to shout Allahu Akbar because it strikes fear in the hearts of non-Muslims.
See this third grade school poster. “This poster is ‘grooming’ elementary school children to accept all sorts of sexual relationships,” Michelle Cretella, a Florida pediatrician and the president of the American College of Pediatricians told LifeZette via email. Also, watch the video of young children promoting the LGBTQI etc., agenda.
Speaking of sexually ‘grooming’ children: After outrage against the movie “Show Dogs,” Global Road Entertainment says it will pull the movie from theaters and re-edit it to remove the scene where Max the dog is coached on how to “go to a zen place” in his mind in order to get through allowing his private parts to be touched—all so he could advance in the dog show competition. The movie later ends with Max very much enjoying having his private parts touched. I wouldn’t support this movie even after edits. What were those involved in the making of such a movie thinking? Need we even wonder?
In the heart of the USA in Iowa: We’ve likely all heard about the major campaign to impose controversial LGBTQ policies on the state’s 4-H youth program – including the admission of biological males into female restrooms, locker rooms, showers and overnight accommodations, as well as mandatory use of exotic transgender pronouns. Now those in charge say they will not be adopting the transgender guidelines after all. No doubt a reduction in membership occurred over this insanity, which is probably what led to the announcement to call it off. We wonder how long that will last.
Boy Scouts continues down the rabbit hole to oblivion. First they accept openly gay scouts (even leaders), then transgenders, now girls. So what has this led to? Condoms will be required at the Scouts 24th World Jamboree.
“Then He said to the disciples, ‘It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come! It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones’” (Luke 17:1-2).
Sodom and Gomorrah: A five-day sex fest will be held in Las Vegas in the coming week. On the last day, they hope to hold the world’s largest orgy. The current documented record is 250 couples set in Japan in 2007.
“And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed” (Luke 17:26-30).
There are many traitors against God in the churches as well.
The priest of Our-Lady of Aalen in Germany, Wolfgang Sedlmeir, showed his disapproval of German politician Alice Weidel after her remarks about Islamic migration, by wearing an Islamic veil during the Pentecostal sermon.
The liberal media is gushing over Episcopal Reverend Michael Curry, who officiated at the royal wedding. Why? Because Curry espouses their leftist causes, including supporting same-sex marriage and promoting racial tension. He was part of a who’s who of leftist so-called spiritual advisors to march on the White House to allegedly ‘Reclaim Jesus’ from President Trump, who they claim is using Jesus for political gain. So, ‘reclaiming’ Him for the “progressives” isn’t using Jesus for political gain?
Many mainstream churches have been in apostasy for quite a while now, and others have always been apostate. They’d better find the real Christ Jesus instead of having a false one of their own making.
Come one, come all to the forming one-world false church spoken of in Revelation 17. Pope Francis is pushing it more openly than ever now. One of the molestation victims of a Chilean priest told the Spanish daily El País what Pope Francis said to him in their recent meeting: “Juan Carlos, that you are gay does not matter. God made you like that and he loves you like that, and I do not care. The Pope wants you like that, and you have to be happy with who you are.”
The student who was threatened with rape for promoting traditional marriage at the Catholic Providence College graduated this weekend, and was then banned from campus and served a restraining order. This happened after he reported to the school that he was being threatened with murder and subsequently confronted an administrator about her inaction. “First rape, now death,” the now-graduate, Michael Smalanskas, told LifeSiteNews. And these threats have come from students!
Transgenders are being encouraged to become Church of England vicars as bishops launch a diversity drive. Bishops have issued new guidance to parishioners and clergy titled “welcoming and honoring LGBT+ people,” reminding them that LGBT people “can be called to roles of leadership and service in the local church.”
Catholic Archbishop Philip Wilson has been found guilty of covering up child sexual abuse in New South Wales in the 1970s. He is the most senior Catholic in the world to be convicted of concealment. Abuse survivor, Peter Creigh, said he hoped the decision would “unravel the hypocrisy, deceit and abuse of power and trust” displayed by the Catholic church. Former police officer, Peter Fox, who was with the abuse survivors and their families when the verdict was handed down, said, “Their stomachs have been churning.”
As the world churns in a self-imposed sea of chaos, surely God’s stomach is churning as He sees what is taking place. To the Laodicean church he writes:
“I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked” (Revelation 3:14-17).
