First of all, let me say that I hope each and every one of you had a very Happy Thanksgiving. It is indeed the beginning of the “Holiday Season,” beginning with Thanksgiving and then on to Christmas. Although, I must say, this time of year is going to be a very sad time for many; and I pray the Lord blesses each of them according to His Perfect Plan.
On that note, how many more Christmases do we think we will have here on Earth? We must look around ourselves and see what is going on politically and geographically, socially, and most of all morally. How is our moral compass these days? Would it be “politically correct” of me to suggest that our moral compass is hanging on by a thread? Or would it be alright to say that our moral compass is presently being held together with Advanced Cardiac Support? Too critical of me? Ya think?
We already know the “Last Days” are all around us, and the prospects look dismal…at best. Well…that is for the majority of the world.
Almost everyone in the world hates the Jewish nation, and it is presently surrounded by its enemies. The United States is in the midst of widespread scandal in Washington DC and in Hollywood. So much for leaders we all can look up to and be proud of…right? Terrorists are everywhere; and that includes some of our own people, yet the world is on high alert and loving this mess we have created.
North Korea’s Kim Jong Un can’t keep his little fingers off all those little red buttons. He couldn’t care less about his country or its people, much less their daily welfare, like proper food and housing.
Let’s not forget about Boko Haram and their ilk, Mogadishu or Yemen, Iran and so many others. Such a waste of time to be fighting…anyone!
Our troops are sent out to areas where we don’t have any business being, destroying lives here at home, as they die in battle—or even come back home in pieces, hoping and praying there will be a safe haven here. Well…it is as long as you don’t live or party in Las Vegas and other areas of that nature, right? No. There is simply nowhere that is safe anymore, no one you can trust anymore – even in a church…am I not correct?
So like I say, this Christmas Season may be sadder than in previous years. Jesus Christ told us;
2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.“
In light of that passage of Scripture, I believe we have a great problem to deal with, wouldn’t you say? How does one turn a complete nation back to the Lord God, considering all the actions the people of this nation are involved in? And I am talking about the “everyday Joe and Jane” on the street…any ideas? These same people are the ones that make choices of our leaders…right? The effects of our leaders will be felt by our children and grandchildren, so we must be up to the task!
How sad is it that the entire world is watching every mistake, blunder and scandal we are in? Such is it with being the greatest nation the world has ever seen.
So many people think they have power, and they never recognize that this power was given to them by the Lord God! And then they squander everything they can get their hands on with never a thought to those that truly deserve it, and have earned it.
Are we able to see the fact that we are in the “Last Days?” Prophecies of the Lord will come to bear, just as they did a couple of thousand years ago…that my Friends, is absolute Truth. The Bible says so.
I would love to see the Lord God heal this nation, to heal this world, but we must remember that will not happen until after the Tribulation. What can be said to get everyone to listen? The really big question is this, “Where will you be when Jesus Christ comes to retrieve His People?” What is the state of your relationship with Jesus Christ? Where will you reside in Eternity? Don’t know? It’s in the Bible…read it…believe it!
I have been saying this as long as I have been saved in Jesus Christ, and there is no better message to hear than the Saving Grace of Jesus Christ. His Love will conquer all…across the world! The Apostles and the Prophets have said so for thousands of years, and many of them knew Jesus Christ firsthand.
So on that note, what will your legacy be on Earth? Will Jesus Christ welcome you Home or send you to Hell and the Lake of Fire? As I have stated before…this is the entire reason you and I are here on Earth. The Angels would give up their Celestial Existence to be a Human and give their life to Jesus Christ!
John 14:1-7 “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
“Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.”
In this passage of Scripture, Jesus Christ is telling it like it truly is. There is no way to the Father except through Him. And that is the end to it. No other prayers or ceremonies, no other process will work…absolutely nothing else will work…it must be through Jesus Christ! Your sins must be forgiven of you, covered by the Blood of Jesus Christ. You must belong to Him and it must be your own choice! No one can pray you into Heaven; you can’t buy your way into Heaven…it must be your Free Will Choice and it must be in sincerity!
Christmas is a wonderful time of every year, but it’s absolutely worthless without Jesus Christ. After all, it was HIS Angels, HIS Earth, HIS Life and years later…HIS Death and Resurrection. Someday and somewhere, you will have to make that one decision, just for you. I hope and pray, you are well versed on who Jesus Christ is, and why HE came here, and how HE can change your life and your Eternity as well. Reread the verse above…PLEASE.
Matthew 7:13-16 “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?“
I like to say, the Highway that is Broad is a highway to Hell and the Lake of Fire. “And many there be which go in there at.” That is some serious words to live by…and yet we know it to be the Truth. The other small word, “FEW,” is scary all by itself! Read it as many times as you need, to understand what you’re reading. Take it to Heart and Believe it. This aspect of Scripture is hard to swallow, and yet because it is the Truth, it becomes so very sad to think about. I do not wish anyone to walk that Highway.
My Friends, as you already know, time is very short. Jesus Christ is right at the Door, just about to Blow that Trumpet and Call His People Home. YOU MUST consider where you will be when the Rapture of the Church of Jesus Christ takes place.
1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.”
One day Very Soon, Jesus Christ will come for those that Love and Follow Him. In the twinkling of an eye, they will suddenly be gone… What will you do if you are not one of them?
In an instant, the entire world will know who God is, that HE is real and that they were so very wrong! Can you imagine the pain and suffering that will take place at that time, that moment? What will you think? How will you feel if you are Left Behind simply because you were too busy to read God’s Holy Word, believe it, and follow Jesus Christ?
2 Corinthians 6:2 “For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.“
My Friends, these are some serious passages of Scripture. Everyone needs to read them and know they are the Absolute Truth…Jesus Christ IS COMING. HE is coming very soon, and everyone who wants to go to Heaven and be with Him…NEEDS TO BE READY.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
