Veronica

My name is Veronica and I am going to be 15; I'd like to share my story aboutmeeting Jesus.

When I was ten years old I was the average kid. Good student, fairly nice sibling, smart, friendly, and mostly a goody-goody. I've always went tochurch and listened to the sermons. I always did what my parents said without arguing.

There was this one time, I remember my Mom and I and my youngersister were going to a Christian music concert and I was dreading it. Ididn't want to go. When we got there, I was kind of panicky and just wanted to leave. So I told my Mom I was sick and felt like getting sick. So she tookme and my sister home; I was satisfied, I thought I fooled her. But I didn't. She knew what had happened.

I was under conviction. She told me I was and she told me how to become a Christian and expected me to do it then and there. So I pretended to become aChristian. I did it out of fear and I was afraid she was disappointed in me. So for the next 4 and a half years I faked being a Christian. I am good atacting, so I was able to fool everyone. I'm not proud of what I did and I wish I could take it all back.

Well, one night this last summer, I was sitting in bed and I was very upset. I felt like I was worthless. Then I remembered hearing people say that Godwas always there for you. So I prayed the prayer, and I became a Christian.

I've done so much more as a Christian that I ever did before. I've dedicated myself to Christ and now I am trying to witness to my friends.

God Bless!

Veronica
