William T. James (Terry), an authority in the field of prophecy, lost his eyesight in 1993, due to a retinal disease but continues to write prolifically. He worked in the public relations/marketing field for more than 25 years. As public relations director for several companies, James conducted press conferences and wrote and produced various forms of business communications for numerous clients.
Additionally, Terry worked as creative director for advertising agencies and as a press liaison for a state agency. He received his education at Arkansas Polytechnic Institute, Memphis Academy of Art, and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where he studied Journalism/Advertising and Political Science. Because of his well-known expertise and experience, James is often consulted through interviews by national media for his views on world issues and events in their possible prophetic context.
Terry has authored, compiled and edited such prophecy books as: Fore Warning, Storming Toward Armageddon, Essays In Apocalypse, The Triumphant Return Of Christ, and Earth’s Final Days And Foreshocks Of Antichrist.
Terry James’ book, Piercing the Future: Prophecy and the New Millennium (2000), discusses what the new millennium holds for planet earth. Nineteen prophecy experts piece together Bible prophecy to provide understanding about what lies ahead in this new millennium and beyond. Piercing the Future examines the Bible’s answers to the many concerns about the present and the future.

He has allowed Rapture Ready to feature more than 30 articles from various books that he has authored. He does not hold the misdirected attitude that far too many prophecy commentators have: the desire to become someone of great important in the prophetic realm. His single focus is advancing Christ’s Kingdom.
When asked for a favorite quote, Terry referenced the key refrains from a popular hymn: “To God be the glory for the things He has done. Just let me live my life; let it be pleasing, Lord, to Thee. And should I gain any praise, let it go to Calvary.”
