“God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind” (Numbers 23:19). God knows all things: past, present and future. Not only does He not change His mind; He has no need to.
At times it may look as though He changed His mind because things aren’t going the way you thought they would, or because He is leading you in a completely different direction than before. If you are open to that leading, eventually you will learn why God led you there. You can pray that the Lord would give you what it takes to follow Him unwaveringly as He works out His plans in your life. “You have made known to me the path of life” (Psalm 16:11).
