John15:5 “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”
I know I have stated this From the Bible many times before, and yet…it still rings true. And this is about absolutely everything…Please note here…Everything! The Lord God IS the Creator! We humans simply use what HE provided for us. I wish that was the end of it. It ain’t!
We humans have such delicate egos that are hurt much too easily. We LIKE to think we are so very smart, so intelligent, so ingenious and forward thinking. The sad truth is this: we are given just so much of anything, and still it is more than enough to get us into trouble.
Now I know this is going to anger some people, and so it is with so many other Truths, like the Holy Word of God, the Bible. Yet this is like everything else we deal with on a daily basis; sometimes the Truth hurts. But…guess what? It’s a choice we make!
In the beginning, with Adam and Eve, we did not wear clothes or shoes. The Lord made things that would hurt our bodies…AFTER…they Sinned in the Garden of Eden and were cast out. So here we are today, with all our Fashions and with all our personal Prejudices. And we then scoff at others that do not have what we have. Opinions are like belly-buttons…everyone has one…right? Yet we ultimately know, we are all the same! Our delicate little egos want to always be better than someone else, never the same and, Horrors be known, never beneath someone else; am I correct?
Do you realize that in all the time that man has been on earth, man has never CREATED anything? Only God is capable of that.
Come on ya’ll…everyone knows that to “Carbon Date” anything is guess work at best. Some guy was sitting around and thinking to himself that the world had to take millions of years to ‘evolve.’ Therefore, HE searched for the most common element on earth and called it Carbon; and he believed that everything on earth began with carbon. Then looking at the earth, he put a date into a computer to that effect…by the millions of years. He looked around himself, and a few others began to agree with him. The question is, was he correct? What do you think?
Let’s back up for a moment. “Just enough information to get ourselves in Trouble.”
There it is, Carbon dating! Of course everyone has the ‘Choice’ to believe some ‘guy’, or to believe the Word of God…right? Guess which one most people are willing to believe? “Well…that ‘guy’ is really smart and all, ya know.” Someone says. “Heyyy…he’s right! I went to school!”
The ‘guy’ re-iterates, “Now I am better than anyone else, and you need to pay me a lot of money.” Next thing you know, others want to be his Friend and hopefully get a job like his and make big bucks. “We all will sit around and speculate big questions (we look smart), and we can teach others and make even more money. Stop and think of it; we’ll be famous!” Of course, we need to go about every day as if we have really important and big things that we are pondering, you know. We must look busy and important.”
And then someone points out the Bible. “Oh that’s a bunch of malarkey!” Of course, the ‘Guy’s’ Friends are supporting him. So now you have it all; here we are, so smart and smug about it. The question is, where did that intelligence truly come from? The Lord God…that’s where! The ‘Guys’ chose to mislead everyone. Except…if you ask them! Right?
Again, our sweet and delicate egos won’t allow us to admit to the Truth. That, my Friends, would destroy us. Right? One must give credit where credit is due. If the ‘Guys’ actually gave the Lord God the credit, where it really belongs, the ‘Guys’ would then be Liars.
You see, I am not intelligent. I simply read the Holy Word of God…in my Life…and I KNOW the Truth!
You see, in all of my Family, I am the only one with a Baccalaureate Degree. That means the Lord God gave me enough smarts to learn from others and make good grades…that’s it! I was able to perform in a particular job, nothing more and nothing less. Yet I am like everyone else on earth…I am a human. I need Jesus Christ…I need to be saved from my own Sin…by HIS Blood from the Cross on Calvary. THAT, my Friends, is all I need to know. That will provide for me a Home in Heaven and not in Hell.
For lack of a better way to say it…There truly is nothing else…for any of us, than Jesus Christ. Again, give credit where credit is due…and that belongs solely to Jesus Christ!
As the verse says above, “Without Jesus Christ…you and I can’t do anything!” Who do you think provides the next Heartbeat or the next Breath of air? The lack of either means we die. The end of little ol’ me! The reason humans are on earth in the first place is to follow Jesus Christ. That’s it…that’s all there is! Everything else, and I mean everything else…stays right here on earth.
John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
Yes, I know; I use these verses over and over again. The question is WHY? Do you ever wonder how many people go through their entire lives and never once give these verses a single thought? The Bible tells us that the answer is…Far Too Many…The Majority of Humans. “Well…I am so busy…I’ll think about it some other time.” Really? So…what if you’re in an auto accident before you think about it? Why should the Lord God give you more time here on earth when you won’t give HIM a single thought, for one small moment? Give me a good reason the Lord God should save you to Heaven?
Those two verses are some really serious stuff to consider! Fail to consider them and you will definitely find yourself In Hell and then the Lake of Fire for all of Eternity. That is total destruction!
Here’s another verse of the like: Matthew 11:28-30 “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.“
The Lord is telling you that HE Loves you! HE wants to make your life easy and wonderful; HE wants to give you life for Eternity. How is that a bad thing? How does anyone in their right mind turn their back on that? Adam and Eve ate of the fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil; therefore, you know what is right and what is wrong. Why would anyone choose to do wrong or evil things? Does this make sense to you?
Psalms 90:10 “The days of our years are threescore years and ten; (60 + 10 years) and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years (80), yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.“
Did you get that? 70 years! Now compare that to Eternity. Or better yet, the distance from the East to the West. That 70-80 years is wayyyyy too short…Life is wayyyy too short! Yet it is more than enough time to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior…and be assured of a Home in Heaven with HIM. I don’t know about you, but that seems pretty basic to me, and one very easy choice to make.
John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.“
