The Mummy
In a world full of problems, a major one is the failure of too many to understand what Islam is, in terms of its aggression.
One could say we can’t get away from it.
I love old movies, and recently watched the 1932 version of “The Mummy,” starring Boris Karloff. The female character, Helen Grosvenor, remarks at one point that she longs for the “real” Egypt, meaning Classical Egypt. In other words, not the Islamic Egypt. Remember, this film was made in 1932, before the rise of modern Islam’s terror agenda.
Yet critic Caroline T. Schroeder saw it as a dig at Islamic culture!
Wow.
This “dhimmi” mentality is literally killing Europe and spreading everywhere. Dhimmitude is the mindset of those who are afraid of crossing Muslim authorities. Whether that be Palestinians in Bethlehem, or diplomats in Brussels, a dhimmi is under the authority of Islam. In Islamic societies, this often includes a tax.
It is Islam’s way of asserting itself over those it labels as infidels.
Only a few cultures fight this aggression: the U.S. and Israel primarily. Unfortunately, we do not fight it strongly enough. One of the indications that we were entering a long war came when George W. Bush insisted that Islam is a “religion of peace.”
This of course is a complete inversion of the truth. Whether Bush knew that or knows it now is debatable. What is clear is that he was “gotten to” by Muslim apologists.
Israel is perhaps the only culture that comes closest to resisting in a way that keeps the terror jackals at bay.
In 2017, 20 Israelis were murdered by terrorists, while 169 were injured. Frankly, I don’t believe the global community cares (though there will be a reckoning one day). But this is a grotesque look at the mayhem committed by followers of “Allah.”
Further, the Palestinian Authority paid-out $350 million to these animals. The PA has always been what it was once called, the PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization). It is a gang of criminals. One propped-up by the West.
In all this, Israel wages war every day against an enemy that started the war.
Also, Benjamin Netanyahu said this week that Israeli intelligence had thwarted numerous terror attacks in Europe, including airline bombings. It is ironic that European capitals constantly sell-out Israel, in an attempt to curry favor with Islamic regimes, including Iran. Or maybe it isn’t ironic.
One could make the claim that there is a dhimmi mentality among even European heads-of-state, in various ways.
According to a report from the Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center:
“On January 2, Iran’s President, Hassan Rouhani, said in a phone conversation with the French President, Emanuel Macron, that Iran’s presence in Iraq and in Syria is in accordance with the official requests of the governments of the two countries and its goal is to combat terrorism. He asserted that it is clear to everyone today that Iran’s efforts and its assistance led to the eradication of ISIS in the region (Fars, January 2, 2018).”
Rouhani is telling Macron how it is. In the context of Iran’s agenda. Macron will not resist. Notice this at the same time France and the UK are being taken over by Islamists.
Meanwhile, police in Vienna are pursuing charges against pro Israel activists for…waving an Israeli flag during a rally! This is one more of the countless examples of the effects of appeasing Islam. While it is certainly an example of anti-Semitism, it is not unreasonable to say that it is also a way to pacify Islam.
Dhimmi.
In a certain sense, Islam is the Undead, a malevolent, destructive force that seeks its own agenda, even if that means death or others. It isn’t hard to predict that Islam will continue to bully a quivering international community.
And Israel will continue to resist.
