Dear President Trump – Part One :: By Patrick Wyett

Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to read this article. No needs to write back, your predecessor never did. Just between you and me, I don’t think he liked what I wrote over the years.

“For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.” (John 3:20)

During this tumultuous time when some are calling for you to unite Americans, which is code for “appease the malcontents, compromise with evil, etc.” might I remind you that you’ve already united Americans. True Americans came together to elect you to the highest office in our country despite what we were told were impossible odds. This “miracle” didn’t happen solely by our numbers or your message.

The earnest prayers of many Christians called out to God, and He answered those prayers, sparing us from the evil reign and wicked personage of Hillary Clinton. In His great love and mercy, God granted this nation a reprieve, at least temporarily.

And it is our nation, not the nation of the anti-Americans, un-Americans and legion factions of reprobates. When you swore an oath on the Bible to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution, you picked a fight with enemies both foreign and domestic.

On the political side, our domestic enemies collectively banner as Democrats. It’s the “big tent” party of abortionists, homosexuals, transvestites, the otherwise sexually perverse, atheists, communists, socialists, fascists (check the Merriam-Webster definition of fascism), gun control fanatics, Satan worshippers, secular humanists, racists, illegal aliens and Muslim invasion proponents.

Why would any Christian, or any sane American, be a part of this satanic circus? I ask introspectively, but if this question offends anyone feel free to smash your computer and set   your house on fire in protest.

Our foreign enemies have been encouraged, strengthened and in several instances, funded these past eight years by the yes, I’ll say it—traitorous Obama regime.

Our allies have been disrespected, alienated and outright betrayed. None more so than Israel.

“For thus saith the Lord of hosts; after the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you (Israel) toucheth the apple of his eye.” (Zechariah 2:8)

From 2009 until January of this year, Obama touched the apple of God’s eye with many malevolent words and actions against Israel.  He spitefully chose Israel’s enemies over our Jewish friends and the welfare of this country.

I am relieved and grateful to see a restoration of our friendship with God’s chosen people, our brothers and sisters in Israel.

“And I will bless them that bless thee (Israel), and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.” (Genesis 12:3)

Cause and effect.

The evil we see in this nation has been of our own doing through tolerance, acceptance, defense, and now, exaltation of wickedness. We’ve listened to the enemies of this nation, dumbly seeking common ground with them. Time and time again our ideals have been buried in that “common ground”.

“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness?” (2 Corinthians 6:14)

So what has been the results of engaging lost souls in political discussion? Destruction at every level. The minds of the people marching for abortion, homosexuality, socialism, and of all things, Islam, cannot be reached by mere “conservative” words, no matter how rational or logical one is.

These people aren’t rational or logical, they are indoctrinated reprobates, deceived and blinded by Satan. Conventional truth has no meaning for them. They believe what they’ve been programmed to believe with a militant fervency.

Their minds can’t be changed until and unless their hearts are changed by the saving knowledge and power of the Lord Jesus Christ. Mr. President, that’s not your job, that’s ours. Sure you can lead by word and example, but it’s we of the Christian community that must tell them the good news of the gospel. Not the non-biblical, sugar-coated, worldly version, the real thing.

A good start would be to address the heresies and false teaching in our many Laodicean churches that masquerade as Christian ministries.

“And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.” (2 Timothy 2:24-26)

The choice to believe or not is up to the individual. Our charge is to offer that choice. Those who only want to argue, attack or mock, we disengage from. The effort becomes as Jesus stated, casting pearls before swine. Futile.

“And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.” (Romans 1:28-32)

This is exactly who we’re dealing with. Beware. Politically, there is no working together. They are the enemies of the Republic, our heritage, and the larger world. We don’t seek their counsel or assent.

We expect their opposition.

I’m not saying that the left would risk the destruction of our country to “fundamentally transform America”. I’m saying that our destruction is precisely what they seek and that their ends justify whatever means. This concept must be understood to make sense of their actions.

These are not well-meaning people who just have different ideas on how to better our society. We must define them by the way they define themselves. They are absolutely totalitarian in their thinking and methodology. All opposition must be crushed and silenced.

It’s always about the revolution. That’s how they see it. It’s a war between our freedom and their despotism.

Communication is key. Leftists advocate for and say the vilest things. Anyone who dares offer a contrary opinion (you know, like the truth) lights their short fuse of indignation. Immediately comes the shrill demands for apologies, retractions and the perpetrator being harassed, threatened and even fired, if possible.

Just for exercising one’s God-given right to free speech, also known as hate speech by the easily offended/morally challenged. Hold your ground, uncompromising, but with tact and grace as the Holy Spirit provides.

The one thing Marxists/liberals/Democrats understand is the importance of ideology. Ultimately they don’t care who gets in office as long as their ideas win. Satan and his deceived play the long game. Take the issue of homosexuality. Over time they’ve convinced some in the Republican Party who claim to be conservatives that homosexuality is just a social issue. You know, like murdering a baby. It’s not a principle worth fighting for they tell us, it’s merely part of the less significant culture war.

Never let the wicked define to you what your principles and priorities should be. That which is sin before God remains so no matter the consensus of mobs dancing on the broad path through the wide gate that leads to eternal destruction.

Enter the globalists. Theirs is an international, multi-generational plan for a one-world government. By necessity, individual nation-states must be abolished, chief amongst them, the United States. A massive understatement here. What you’d get in return won’t be better than what you have.

Amongst their many assets, globalists own the media, the entertainment industry, the banking system, academia, the Democratic Party and more churches than many might think. They’ve made substantial purchases within the Republican Party as well. Not much left for us, is there?

How powerful are they? We’ve had 28 straight years of globalist presidents, from the Bush’s to Clinton and Obama.

They are close to victory, oh so close. With that in mind, do you think that they’ll concede this past election and sit peacefully by for the next four years? The fight to the finish is now. This is the ongoing problem.

Here’s our everlasting answer.

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I [Jesus] have overcome the world. (John 16:33)

Our second president, John Adams, lived through some dark times during our nation’s founding. He offered this enduring truth:

“We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge or gallantry would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution is designed only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for any other.”

We must become that people again. Now is the time for bold, resolute leadership.

Here’s another truth. Our faith is foundational to our principles.

“Liberty cannot be established without morality, nor morality without faith.” ― Alexis de Tocqueville

Christian morality, Christian faith.

“Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.” (Psalm 60:12)

We cannot overcome the forces arrayed against us without God’s intervention. To Him goes the victory and glory.

Also realize that we cannot oppose His precepts yet expect His providence. A disconnect here is that the world says we can while the Bible demonstrates we can’t. Our fate will be determined by which advice we heed.

Congratulations, the election has been won.

The war continues.

If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without bloodshed; if you will  not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance  of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.  —Winston S. Churchill

Yours in the fight,

Patrick
