Trials and Tribulation: The Mountains That Move :: By Mclaughlin

Trials and Tribulation. The two words that none of us want to hear. Unfortunately, on this side of heaven all of us will experience trials and tribulations. But with Jesus these challenges do not have to be our undoing. Through “faith the size of a mustard seed,” we can move the mountains that sometimes seem like they are going to throw themselves upon us.

With Jesus, we are more than conquerors, and even in tribulation we can have a “peace that passes all understanding” that leads us all the way to an abundant life.

Our job is to cling to the Blessed Hope and the faith that Jesus put inside all of us when we first believed. What is an area of your life where Jesus is calling you to have a little more faith? I know I have had mine.

But with everything, Jesus is faithful and He will meet us where we are at. For “His power is made perfect in our weakness.” Our job is to not lose the hope that He put inside of us!

I remember years ago, when I was going through significant health issues, and I kept on hearing Jesus say, “My power is made perfect in your weakness, my grace is sufficient for thee.”

Little did I know, through that season of illness that God would do His greatest work and heal me, and show me that He is truly the great physician, and that He is all that He says that He is. My job, during that season of my life was to just cling to to His robe as I learned to “walk by faith and not by sight.”

Friends, no matter what you are going through, know that Jesus is all that He says He is and He will meet you where you are. All you must do is to meet Him where He is.

As James 4:8 says, “Draw close to me and I will draw close to you.”

Jesus loves you and is closer than you can imagine, especially in tribulation—for He is there to help us all to move mountains. Even if we are the mountains.
